ok on my white z the front pasenger seat doesnt slide forward or back. the handle on the front doesnt work, or the lever on the back of the seat that suppose to make the whole thing slide up so a passenger can get in the rear... neither one works. i was just wondering what it would take to fix this issue. i havent removed the seat yet.. just need to know what to look for.

maybe the coil spring thing under the seat that connects those pieces

like a small/thin coat hanger looking thing, lol

ill check it out. would i find this in the repair manual? so i know how its suppose to be set up.

not sure if its in the repair manual, but there should be 2 pretty obvious holes it connects to

ok so is it something i have to take the seat out to repair or can i just leave it in place and repair

you may be able to do it with the seat in, but obviously the easiest way is to pull it out.

you'd prolly spend more time trying to work around the seat being bolted in, then it would take to pull it out.
