Dash lights are dim until I step on the gas?
Monday, December 03, 2007 12:25 PM
Like title says my dash lights at night go dim until I step on the gas. Once I step on the gas the dash lights go back to normal! Any ideas on what this could be or if anyone else has had this problem?

Thanks, I just put in a Optima Red Top so that should be fine! I'll guess i'll have to do a test on the alternator.

Dying battery/alternator unable to keep up with electrical demands at idle.

better get on it. a bad alternator will kill a battery, and the same for the opp situation.
