Well, Im posting pics cuz i borrowed a friends crappy cam so here we go. I ordered the streetfire kit and it will be here on the 31st (Tuesday) so im posting some pics of the way it sits as of today. BUT FIRST here are some before pics. Check it!!

Heres how it sat lowered with 15's in its ricer stage with loud big muffler!

Then i got wheels and changed the muffler lol

Old interior pic that looks just cheesy

Now how it sets ! 17" Maxxim defcon 6's, rk hood, painted mirrors and rear panel, cheap dt muffler, gauge pod and new floor mats.

The kit will be on shortly and i will post new pics. Tell me what ya think!!

one more thing

when you shaved the mouldings, did you find the paint underneath to be in good shape?

Well, everything was great except when i got towards the back of the car on one side. There is a lil dark line where the moulding was because its been painted before (which i didnt know til i did that). Body shop man told me it had been painted to. Anywho, i will have new pics this time next week!!

Thanks Adam!

BTW, debating on buying red neon underbody kit form jason a+. What do ya think? Yay or nay?

honestly, nay... cause I'd want to stay strictly performance, and not so much looks.

but seeing as how you now have alex's cav (its boosted still isn't it?) I'd kit the sf in a second

Hope you don't think its going to be a daily driver on that drop. Mines riding stock suspension and I still grind the $hit out of the kit now and again, couldn't amagine trying to drive it with a 3-4" drop. GL tho, nice lookin car.

Me neither...thats why i have a 1.75 drop with the goldlines. My cav was on sportlines with a blitz kit and it was LOW and i never really scraped so i know my sunfire is gonna be just fine.

Thanks though

Where did you get your front fog lights? I need some for this kit and i cant seem to find em! (cheap)

Listen to Phail. I have the Streetfire kit for my 03 and i was droped about as low as you are at first. To low the streetfire kit is hell at stock levels. I scrape on just about every driveway, bumps you name it. But that is on roads in New York. Looks good, the kit will make it even better, the fog lights would come from a sunfire gt for you year of the sunfire.

Well, i got the kit today and got the front bumper on. Arrrg, kind of a pain. The top 3 lil bracket thingys (where the push pins go) seem like they need to go farther back (towards the engine) but then there is a space between the bumper and the crush panel. Like 1/2 and inch or so. Almost like i need a spacer (maybe some wood?). What did yall do at the bottom of the bumper for support? Seems kinda floppy.

I cut the crush panel from the bottom (about 2 lines) so that you cant see it through the opening. Do i need to cut the front of it back or something to make the bumper go back (towards the engine). I can see the cut out where the hood lies (up front). I will see if i can post pics tomorrow.
uggg
