Nice editing with the engine bay making it see-through!

Cool pics! I felt like I'm looking at one of those first grader worksheets that said "What's different here?" when I saw that.

1 camera, 1 shot, no photo editing required
I have a Canon Powershot A95.
Can you give us specifics on how you did it? I'd love to try that on my fire. Thanks
well I can't reveal all my secrets, but I appreciate the comments
cheers!
Those turned out really good Steve! I knew people would go nuts over the see-through-hood effect.
something to the extent of EVERYONE doing it and playing it out

Steve - That was actually Ian posting from my place, he forgot to log himself in, lol.
Thanks for the comments though. I needs a wax really badly. Overall, I'm pretty happy how those pics turned out, we've gotta do it again with Marks car, when he gets it back, today!

nice pics, i like the camera work
longer exposure. Start with hood open, then close it. Probably a smaller aperature also. Oh yes, and a tri-pod.

glad I could help with your selection.
I had originally wanted to go with the Canon S2 IS but its $700CDN pricetag didn't turn me on.
the a95 has the flip screen, 5.0MP, and quite a few similar features as the S2 IS. The only thing this didn't have was the 12x optical. Mine has 3x and only cost me $450CDN
Your pics are awesome man.
BTW I got my camera for $209 US.
