yeah i had to bring the hoist over to my brothers house because my mom would let me keep the engine at our house
but most hoists i`ve seen are red
the camaro is my brothers its a 96 3800 T-Top 5 speed with Y87 Performance package only mod so far on it is a SS spoiler

yes and no
the 3800 is a completely different motor which is a 90 degree v6
the 3400 is a 60 degree v6 same as the 2.8/3.1, 3100 , 3500, and 3900

So what made you decide to go with the 3400 and not the 3800 s/c?
actually no thats not me thats my brother
it will be a while before its in
3400 is "almost" a dropin motor
3800 would been too much work
the car isnt being built for racing so not going to bother plus theres alot more info inregards to 3400 swaps than 3800 swaps

nope still waiting on the injectors to get here
thought about grabbign the mutlitech 1s out of the 3400 (since they are pre 00) and throwing them into the 89 (it will run a little rich but not as bas as the mutlitech 2s from post 00

All I will really have is bolt on stuff for the engine. When we get the engines out of cars that are blown up, we normally strip off any good stuff and save it. So I will not have any computers, or harness, or stuff that doesnt normally come on the engine, or stays in the car. But anything bolt on I can get.

main things i`m missing is tensioner pulley power steering pump and resevior, coil packs and module and mounting bracket, flywheel, starter, timing cover with boss(the one where you can mount a A/C delete pulley) (found one i may buy) and alternator properly a few other things
