Pretty sweet J on ebay

Check this beast out if you already haven't. It is probably old news for some, but it is nice non the less... Again sorry if this is a repost.

Some of the mods

It has been converted to a 454 cubic inch motor with rear wheel drive. The motor is all new attached to a new 2-speed Power Glide tranny, 3500 stahl converter, 9" Ford rear end with 31 spline Mosier axels, 4.00 rear end gear with a spool. Car is equiped with 20" rear wheels, 17" front wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes. Car has aluminum radiator mounted under the motor with electric fan and duct work. Car is also equipped with water holding tank in trunk which helps engine run cooler and extra weight helps with traction in the rear wheels. Also as an aluminum fuel tank mounted behind the rear wheels. Front suspension is stock Cavalier and works very well with the 454 engine. Rear suspension is a 9" Ford truck rear end mounted rigid with an "H" member cross member. Motor is a 1985 454, standard bore, with 66 396 closed chamber heads. Has high volume oil pump with a chrome oil pan, has gear drive with chrome timing cover, has aluminum billet electric water pump, Weiand 4 bbl. aluminum intake with Edelbrock high performance carb, 502 Big Block valve covers, complete MSD ignition system, powder coated block hugger headers, mild cam, hydraulic lifters, 2-speed Power Glide transmission completely rebuilt with a 350 Turbo input shaft and a 3500 stahl converter. Has B&M ratchet shifter, large monster tach, oil pressure and water temperature chrome guages mounted on hood beside scoop. Motor is mounted like a race car engine and body has been reinforced with new steel tunnel. Also has new exhaust system, with high flow turbo mufflers and square stainless steel tips that come out in front of the rear wheels. Car has been consistent show winner, has won at Super Chevy show, been on ESPN and is driven daily. This car is street legal where I live in Central Indiana. This car was listed once before on e-Bay with a Tunnel Ram dual 4's sticking through a stock hood. It was originally built to look like a muscle machine. I received many e-mails in disbelief that I could drive this car on the street. I'm sorry for your inconvenience if you are not allowed to own or operate this vehicle in your area. I even went as far as to tell some people they might want to consider moving. I removed the Tunnel Ram and installed the hood scoop to give it more of a "sleeper" appearance. I still have the complete "other" carburation set-up with the larger valve covers and the other hood that is available for another fee, so the car could be switched back and forth from it's current look to what it used to be. Included in the auction are pictures of what it looks like now, and what it used to look like. This car is very fast, and dependable and is lots of fun to drive. Not recommended for the faint-of-heart or inexperienced drivers

Wow this is turning out to be more aggrevation than its worth... I just saw it and figured I would share it with the jbo. I figured it was already posted, but gave it a shot non the less. Ah well a mod should delete this post or lock it if it is causing a problem. Just wanted to share the great pics I saw, wasn't aware I needed to do a search before I posted pics so I didn't offend anyone. Sorry about the inconvience.....

Don't waste your posts saying sorry..........

People have to flame you to gain an inch or two on their e-dick............

It'll be over soon and their e-dick shall shrivel again!

And yes, glad he finally got the hood to cover it. Looks a ton better!

You know I actually remember a 37yr old guy back in 01-02 talking about this and everyone threw the BS flag in like every post. That was like right around the time Raven did or was doing his swap so a v8 swap seemed just min-blowingly retarded. After the flaming on here he didn't come back but a year or two later these pics popped up.

I have a good feeling it was him who did this car. And it was funny to hear everyone's opinions on engine swaps changed in here. For the longest it was just plainly said as can't be done. Then it turned into anything can be done for a price.

ok on to bed now.

HAHAHA so true

I wish people would understand that others weren't internet freaks years ago and they happen to find stuff now that came out then. People act like it's a crime sometimes...oh well.

Adam, don't let it bother you...

It is sweet looking, but it has no suspension. There are no rear springs, "rigid mounted rear end". Imagine going 100 mph down an average road in a 2500 pound go-cart. You would have to wear a kidney belt, helmet (keep your head from hitting roof), and a cup (keep from smashing your nuts on the seat) just to drive it down the street.

What is the definition of street driven?
