I think your "L" brackets are on upside down. I'm pretty sure they should be mounted with the leg down.
But I have been known to worng before...

the black bar is a tie-bar . i'm pretty sure its a brace bar from an Evnvoy or Trailblazer being used as a tiebar...i've seen it done a few times

That tie bar is in the wrong place as well., the L bracket needs to be flipped and the ends of the tie bar placed where the end link spacer is right now. That is the best place for the tie bar to actually work....

also, i dont like the idea of the v clamp around the axle. something about the noisy is MIGHT create worries me. anyone weld the mounts for the bushings to the axle?
