I F*$king hate theves. Luckaly the alarm finally went off after they opened the door so they didnt get anything but they still screwed the door and decklid up. And the body shop cant fix it till after the first of the year. Yeah i hate theves.

No not yet. Everything is gonna get shaved this summer. Just gonna let insurace fix it real quick.

Looks like my door! They got my cd player though and screwed up my dash... Insurance covered everything so it was all good... Spent the money else where so it's still damaged.

The body shop will more than likely reskin the door to fix the damage by the lock. So it might be worth getting a check from the insurance company now and using that money to shave the doors and trunk.
No they dont have to re-skin it. Just gonna reshape it and put in a couple welds. Honestly i dont even know if im gonna continue putting money into cars. My camaro was broken into and they tryed to steal that in october. Sick of my cars being stolen and broken into so i might be retireing from modding for now.
Get a nice alarm.

I know what that is like, on a Friday night 1 of my windows was smashed then got it fixed saturday then the next week my door was hacked like that then they smashed my other window. So I went through insurance and shaved my handels and locks.
Actually i have a very nice top of the line alarm. Only problem is i turned down the shock sensor cuz it was going off alot at night. So looks like its gettting turned back up to where the neighbors complained.
Wow, I'm glad I got my window smashed in now. That sucks man. I would get a quote on getting the locks fixed, and shaving, see how much the difference is. Might as well shave them now. No point in putting in new locks, only to take them all out this summer

Yeah, I'd just shave the lock... That's what I am going to do when I get around to it... I don't even lock my doors anymore... I have nothing in it worth stealing....

happened to me, dealer wanted to re-skin it. i took it to a mom and pop bodyshop, they shaved all the lock cylinders for 100 bucks apeice. not a great paintjob, quite a bit of orange peel, but a perfect match, and after enough wax, it looked perfect.
