I would think the odd time, I have the sport lines with 225/45/ZR17 and I diddn't really notice anything while driving but when I but my stocks back on for winter I could see some rub marks.........just be carfull when on bumpy roads or going over speed bumps and go on angles.....pisses ppl off but who cares.....lol

strat81: The offset i think isssss 40mm or 42mm...cant reallie remember tho..
i dont reallie have an issue with the rear of the car being lowered to a 2.3" , but im juss worried about the front and if it will rub once its drop'd to 1.7"

I dont' know what the exact dimension of my rims are but I have 215/35/19 tires and I don't have any rubbing, with a 2inch drop. I also drive a sedan. I actually would like to drop the front another half to a whole inch. I think you should be fine.
