These are the first actual pictures I have posted on the JBO of my car. I am 16 and getting my lisence next week. This is my second cavi (first was a blue 03 base) which was sold for this one. I just got the windows tinted today. I went with 17% all around and a 5" strip on the front windshield. I am pretty happy with it, except where they cut around the rear view mirror so it looks like I have a hole in my front windshield strip. I might make them re-do it because it looks really bad. There are also a lot of bubbles, but I am sure those will clear up. Comments and suggestions are definetly welcome. Later

hey man it looks really good..you might wanna check out getting the strip on your windshield redone it looks like it has alot of bubbles and if you went to a professional shop they should back up there work

ya take that back and make them take off your rear view and lay the strip.


And give the bubbles a few days. Usually you always have bubbles until the stuff dryies.

roll down the window it will fix the bubbles

Well right now my windows and car are really dirty, so that might make the tint look like it has a lot more bubbles than it really does. I am gonna give everything about a week, and then if no change, then I will take it back. Just checking though: you can take the rear view mirror off right? The shop didn't and just cut around it and it looks like crap. If you guys tell me that it can be taken off, than I will make them redo it. It was a fairly reputable shop and was $190, they also did my mom's truck's tint and it looks sweet, so I figured they new what they were doing. Thanks for the comments so far.

The tint shop said they can't do anything about the strip being cut around the mirror because the mirror is glued on. And they didn't want to mess with taking it off and putting it back on. I could pay them again to have the strip removed and put some vinyl on, but I said F that and just decided to leave it as is. Maybe my mirror will fall off when I get my Alpine system and I will mess with it then. Whatever, I still love my car, just not some of the things wrong with it.

I see what you were saying, I thought you meant yours came from the factory tinted. Most of them do look horrible without tint.
