yeah everyone it looks like they tried to take my stock hood too that is int eh drivewa but i bet that got scared and it is somewhat heavy. I know now not to keep anything in my yard or driveway no matter what. I should setup a trap one day and wait all day outside and setup something nice in the driveway and when someone comes to take it video take it and call the police.

I will prolly just rent a air compressor from home depot to finish it i guess. Yeah it sucks bad but i cant do nohting about it now.

How do u keep the dust away from the drying paint? Just curious since you painted it inside your garage and im sure there is loads of dust in there.

dude you must understand. I cleaned the garage, washed everything down, blew it out, washed the car outside, pulled the car inside the garage, covered the walls, kept the garage closed when painting, and its staying closed. Now before i clear, i can fully clean the car again from dust since the paint is dry. You would be surprised but you can pretty much get a show quality paint job out of a garage if it is prepped right. I did clean the car before paint with grease remover, that is illegal in the us, it ate right threw my gloves. My friend jose, got them from the body shop he works at, since he is the painter there of 14 years. We took all the necessarily steps needed and just wait til its cleared and it will be like glass.

I was curoius about dust but looks like you took care of that :-) Nice job on the paint..cant wait to see the finished product after the clear coat is applied.

How long did it take you to spray the entire car?

Yeah my friend who is a painter of 14 years says it didnt really matter. We wanted to get the whole car in color yesterday. I will go back and shoot the inner door, and plus im going to recoat the whole car again too, about 2 more layers of corvette red.

It took about 4 hours so far, but thats cause my air compressor was acting up and kept blowing my fuse. I think today im going to buy a brand new compressor, since my were stolen, so i can finish the car. Clear coat will take about 40 minutes, as long as i can get a compressor that will keep on giving me a air. I will do 3 coats of clear on everything but i am still going to do two more coats of corvette red on the car. I have to fix a small run i made before i recoat it and actually shoot the clear.
