Is that a sealed box? The type r's love ported enclosures and you might get it louder this way.
Wow man that makes me want my full alpine type r system so bad. What amps are you running with them? I bet is insane in the car.
It's a sealed box 1.25 cubes run by a Viper D1200.1

Yea I'm thinkin about a ported box for it with a nice componet set. I would like to get it in the mid to high 140's and I would be happy. So we'll see in time.

Where did you get that amp cause it says its discontinued? You gonna look at getting the rest of the Type R stuff (speakers and components) or are you gonna mix? It really is a very nice setup and I think I am gonna go with the system before s/c because you just made up my mind.
I got the amp off ebay. I'm planning on going with infinity componets. then I'm not exactly sure what amp I'll run them with.

You can be constructive without being a douche....well, most people can, apparently you cannot.. Anyway, I like it. I'm considering running one 15" Type R to replace my CVR15. The more videos that I watch of them on ROE, the more I want one...
