The Eibach Pro Kit is in. It is not a radical drop but it does give the car a better stance.
Comments and suggestions are welcomed.
Tomorrow I am off to have the exhaust completed. Header is in, cat back is in, Magnaflow cat to be installed.
Then it is off to have the windows tinted. After that my loving wife will probably say thats enough this year.

its a nice drop, look better.
Now for soem hopefully helpping hand ...
Whats up with the red engine bay stuff? im not feeling that and just kind of think it looks retarded IMO.
The skirts ... they need to have the rear and front bumper lip kit added on to it! It looks stupid and half assed as it is right now. They also make the car look like its hovering in those pictures. we can barly tell how much you actually did drop it. The color scheme is cool, but it need more! add front and rear lip and if you like the black go black and make sure you take pictures when your out on the street or something. Hard to see with that black top drive way of yours!
also loose the z22 badges looks gay.
i like the drop...not to much and enough to make a difference
hows the ride now ???
post pics of exhaust when its all done

chrome the engine bay, or black would be cool
Mykeln wrote:Maybe I should also shave the body side mouldings. Any suggestions as to what colour would be good for the engine?
YES! Take the side mouldings off, it will make a huge difference. I finally did mine and my god it looks 1000000x better. As for the engine, I would lose the red stuff, get a polished valve cover from R&D Fabs, and get some carbon fiber covers for the resivoirs, radiator shroud, and fuse box. Just my .02
i like the red yellow and black thing
maybe i just suck at colors?

I thought it was a good choice but there are others that dont like it.
How often will anyone see the engine? I dont really show the car. It is a diversion for me from all of the medical needs of my son.
If I had funds available I would love the lip kit, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber accessories for the engine, etc etc.
But the medical needs for my son come first.
I still enjoy the suggestions tho. Probably will remove the Z22 tomorrow and maybe the side mouldings.

I love what you did with the engine bay, just not on that color. Wanna trade/sale haha!
And I wasn't expecting a 2200 to be in there. Swore you had a LS 03+ going by color
and your exhaust post! Drop looks good too though. I might go with that since all I need
is something small that works. Desent car all in all, and sry about whatever is going on
with your son! Priorities come first, fun later! Good luck on it all bro!

Coming Soon:HpTunersPro, EagleConnectingRods, WiescoPistons, 13sec2200
front a rear lip and it would be hawt.
Ok i have followed some of the suggestions. Z22 badges are gone and the side mouldings are off. Got a surprise tho. The paint under the passenger door side moulding has some discoloration. Posted a thread on exterior to get some help on how to fix it. I think water got trapped under the moulding and caused the problem.

Mykeln wrote:Any opinions on graphics? I found a local shop that uses 3M products and the salesperson showed me a black graphic that is 8 ft long. Looked pretty good. $250 cdn installed. Good idea bad idea?????
i myself am not a big fan on graphics but whatever works for you man i mean it is your car
good luck with it

ive never seen the 2.2 in a yellow cav in that year, weird stuff
i guess its a canadian thing?!
The 2200 engine was the base engine for the first part of the model year. The Eco then came later.
It may have something to do with where the car was manufactured. Mine was built in Mexico late in 2001.
I bought mine in December 2001. As you can see from the engine pic the ECU is in the same place as the Eco.

i didnt mind the z22 badges as it seemed like thats where you got your color scheme idea from
i kinda like the colors, car is different in a way
i duno i like it for one, but loose moldings and badges
i like the yellow red and black theme. its definetly different.
i didnt hate the z22 badges either matched the car nicely
