Well, in Toronto at the Exhibition Place, the World Grand Tuner car show took place. It was a long weekend, let me tell you. We arrived on Thursday night at about 5ish for roll in, but didn't get into the building until 6:40 or so. After getting inside we cleaned the cars until 8:30 then headed home. Got up in the morning at 7:30...well I slept in, good thing Justin (stealthfire) woke my lazy a$$ up
.
We spent Friday and Saturday at the show from 9am to 6:30 pm, and then Sunday from 10am to 6:30pm.
The Molson Indy took place aswell, so time went by pretty fast for the most part. Those cars FLY by so damn fast...T.V makes the race look so much slower than in reality.
They also had drifting on Friday and Saturday for 15 minutes two times a day...and it was sweet!!! watching those cars take the turns was jaw dropping. One car starts the turn and that creates a huge cloud of smoke, then all of a sudden a 2nd car just appears from the smoke, then a 3rd, and a 4th...it was amazing to see.
All in all it was a great weekend
here are some pics I took with a friends camera down at the show.
Since I was at the show I didn't get any of the widebody done...but tomorrow night I will be doing some more work on it again
I'm going to be adding a few more neon lights on the interior (especially for the rear seat set up). I am going to try to wire it up this week some time.
I'll also wire the inverter to the car so I don't have to have it plugged into the cig lighter
I sitll need to get a radiator cover (the part that goes over the headlights) I don't like the empty look in the engine bay right now.
yup couldnt have said it any better ^

Wow...crazy stuff right there!! Looks awesome!
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
Dig it. Almost makes me miss doing those indoor shows... almost...

Performance cars do not win car shows and show cars do not win races.
It's up to you to decide which you'd rather win.
I have never seen your door panels with the carbon in em, theyre crazy!! lookin good buddy

Just a stock one or a CF one?
Car looks good!!
^ A stock one would be fine aswell...cf one maybe later down the road however.
Thanks guys
I have some good news aswell...today wasn't busy at the golf course so I got to go home 4 hrs early...that means I get an even better start at working on the widebody now instead...
had a blast all weekend hopefully have my rims and lights for the weekend, it was a great show the drifting outside was definately the highlight to the weekend, the funny thing is that there had to be at least 5000 pics taken of my car I have yet to see any of the websites with the show on it yet.
btw "I didnt know it was your car, are you f'n dumb" only in toronto do you get bitched at from someone who sits in your car
Deffinitly one of the hottest ever.....ever.

hey poppa where did you get your display stand? im going to make one but i really like that one where did you buy it?
thanks
haha Justin.
I know...
if anyone is wondering what happened this is a quick version of the story.
Firstly...I've never had so many people go sit inside my car as I did that weekend. I had these two guys get inside and started to play with the steering wheel and horn, people playing with my PS2 controllers, touching my neon switches, and the highlight was when these two girls reclined my seats back and sat inside. Justin's girl friend kindly asked them not to sit inside the car. The girl in the car got out of it and started to bi+ch her out saying she can sit in any car she wants, you can't tell me I can't sit in there. I didnt know it was your car. This is the EXhibition, I can sit whever....blah blah...
Just alot of people didn't have respect for others property...even in my friends solstice, people would reach into the car, unlock the doors and sit inside to test it out.
I guess that is why some people put up ropes/stantions/boarders around their cars to help prevent that....
meh...what can you do really I suppose. It is bound to happen...however, it was pretty funny that the girl got out of my car to walk over to us and snap on us about telling her not to sit inside...it's one thing to say sorry, or walk away without anything, but she had to walk over and start cussing.
Great weekend eh Justin
Vince the car is looking amazing, i wish I had your talent when it comes to laying Carbon Fiber, I would love to do somethings with it but i have never laid it before, but your car is looking great
Looking awsome guys. Vince, waiting on that MSN message this winter
PS-Thanx for the coke!
^ lol.
I have been doing some drawings these past few days...I might be re-doing a new dash board set up this winter aswell now. The one I currently have might be heading out come 2007 if all goes well...(well depending on the large time factor).

dude i know what u mean, at world of wheels i come back to my car to see some girl leaning against my door so her dad can take pics i was like wtf. that was when i decided that for indoor shows my car will be sitting on carpet with ropes around it because people are so freakin stupid and dont know how to respect anyone.
great pics of your car, thats the best quality pics ive seen of the interior. the door pic shows what a good job you did on the c/f very nice. but you need to do a fiberglass cover for the inside of your trunklid man. get on it.
