If you didn't see my other thread I bought an 04 cavi as a new winter beater/daily driver on thursday, 18K miles for $6,000.

I started the major cleaning with some help form my girlfriend. It was preaty clean to begin with but not clean enough for me. I removed the bumper sticker and city stickers, ect.. vaccummed the inside, cleaned all the carpet and apolstry top to bottom, invisable glassed and razor bladed the inside of the windows, used interior clean/protect/shine wipes, febreezed the whole inside, ect.. the whole nine yards, even pulled some of the interior apart to get @!#$ out of the cracks, in the vents eveything, scrubed the floor mats then started on the exterior. Washed it, all down with some regular water and car wash soap mix and added a bit of dish soap (good to use once a year before a major cleaning) then clay barred the whole exterior, then used scratch remover on a electric buffer over the entire car, then used the buffer again for all 3 stages of the Mothers 3 stage wax. fallowed by cleaning up all the window trim the cowl the wiper arms, invisible glass and razor bladed the the outside of the windows.


Anyways, pics of the new beater all ceaned up.

the beige interior I'm actually getitng used to faster then I thought I would, I think its cause my girlfriends lexus has tan interior, the one thing that bothers the hell out of my though is how the 3 vents are black and the far right vent is beige, it drives me crazzy hahahah

haha maybe, i think after hes done with the silver one completely he will mess with it more. why dont you go to the yard and get 3 more tan ones or one more black one and switch them or something looks about as good as a base model can get w/o mods

I should take my car to you to clean it out. That thing looks good for a beater. The mod bug will hit soon enough. It'll start out with a short throw, eventually a turbo kit will be going in, next thing you know you're at the track putting hondas to shame and still using it as a DD.

hahaha I don't think I'm a clean freak. Its a new cars always get a crazzy cleaning like this right away then once a year. The silver cav... now thats a different story hahah. But either way I'm only that way with my cars, you shoudl see my room hahah

I have the tan on tan, and I think it looks good, I have seen tan with carcoal int, and it looks outta place,

One of my buddies back in college totally has Ryan beat. This guy cleaned his Camry (99 I think, 4 years old at the time) every night after pulling into the garage. In his defense tho, it was black, so dirt showed too easy. Question is Ryan, does Justyna's Lexus get this much love from you?? haha
