Boosted 2.2l OHV Begins

Well yesterday I started to do my boosting. Ill be posting pictures all night tonight. For starters I did a semi good yet semi half ass job on cleaning the Valve cover.








Just got my intercooler mounted and it looks like sex. Anyways, more pictures to come, feel free to post feedback id appreciate it.

damn. won't let you post ur pics. lots of work but not really sure how a sanded down valve cover deals with being boosted...

I didnt take off more then like half a MM, if not less. It shouldnt effect it at all.

my valve cover is shineyer than yours is now what about the boost I wana see pics. of that.

heres some more photos, process is going slow but its 3 degrees out and i have a poorly insulated garage.


I know its not centered.

Where are the turbo, manifold, and charge pipes? I would of thought you had your header and all that stuff off already.. And why did you hang your Intercooler like that if you know its not centered?

Turbo is int eh back seat, manifold is int he mail and charge pipes are on thhe counter. this si the only vehical i have access to so im using it for running around and doing the turbo install at the same time. Once the manifold gets here which shoul dbe tommarow ill be taking the headers off.

Looking good man, this may be some inspiration for me to get off my ass and finish putting together a turbo kit for my OHV.

Well today I installed the FMU, its increases fuel pressure so I can get that turbo fed.
