Well, zomkspeed, they really know how to package an intake.
I know, you get what you pay for. It wouldnt be bad had they put maybe at least ONE kind of packing material
in with it. The pipes were wrapped in bubblewrap... thats it. So Fedex dropped this while I wasn't home, and
I e-mailed the seller... I'm sure they will say its a shipping claim, which is BS. Oh, and its missing two couplers
as well.
So, lesson learned, I wouldnt purchase this intake from them.

typically eBay intakes are ok. its where i got mine and i actually had an extra couple of parts. looks like u just got screwed. sorry to hear it man, hope it works out.

Well, maybe I shouldnt give up so easy... last time I dealt with the generic company in California I kinda got screwed... we'll see how this pans out. I didnt leave feedback yet. If they're nice they'll get a positive. I'm just a bit pissed I paid $23.50 for shipping and they didnt use any packing material... thats what happens when things arent packed good.

So now I asked how they'd like to pay me for shipping it back... lol this is useless / pointless.
I got the same style intake except in silver and I installed it differently then wat they show in the pic. They should send someone to pick it up for a return, So it wont cost you anything to ship it back.
Yeah, I know it gets installed differently... they said they would send a prepaid return label now.
Looking at the intake though, did you mount that clip that holds the throttle / cruise cables on the new intake? The holes dont line up on mine (the holes on that intake tab and the studs on the clip).

That's what I go by. and if it's expensive ($100+) I stick with 99%+ Nobody is perfect, so that's why I allow for the 2%

yea i mounted it to the new intake it fit cause one of the studs was broken off on the clip. ill take a picture tommorow since i have to change the corner bulbs on the cavy.
Cool, thanks man. As soon as they mail me the couplers then I'll install mine. Also, is your cav an auto or 5 speed? I'm just wondering where to put the clutch reservoir...
out of curiousity, does this attach to the stock 2200 air box or does it connect directly to the tb?
Directly to the tb. Thats the only reason I bought this one.
From the color it looks like a k&n typhoon.
You gotta expect to get what you pay for though. I just ordered an intake from autodynasty; Ill see how that goes.

I've actually ordered from that seller myself but for other things. My experience with zomkspeed was good! No problems at all. I wouldnt hold it against them entirely as it could very well be a shipping issue. Perhaps your intake was packed better but it was tampered with by employees of the the shipping company as it IS known to happen. Hopefully your next order will be good.
