Been awhile guys but I am still around. After blowing the engine again last year due to a plugged cat (boiled the oil and turned a bearing) I was ready to give up on her. After a few months off I decided to give it another go. But what is in store for this year??? Here are some pics of my new parts.
When I get out to the shop later on today I will post up some pics of what I have done to the car itself
Precision bar and plate intercooler (31 1/2" x 10 5/8" x 3 1/2")
Tial 44mm wastegate with v-band flanges
Tial 50mm blow off valve
And the new heart of the beast for this year...
Custom built Precission PT-67 dual ball bearing turbo (.68AR on the exhaust side and .75 on the compressor). It has a 4" inlet and a 3" outlet on the compressor side of things and a standard T4 flange with a 3.5" v-band outlet for the exhaust. This turbo is rated to 780hp.

What motor are you boosting?????
holy balls. that is gonna scoot.
so you think you can make the bash? I'm talkin the US Version...although JCO would be nice too. I really need to make it to the JCO once
Wow, thats it a very nice setup you are going with. Another win for the white Cavaliers.
He is keeping the 3800 in there, no more SC.
Of course I'm boosting the 3800
and Paul, honestly I want to go to both and have for the last 6 years. lol From having to work, to blowing up an engine, to having an armoured truck back over a car something always seems to come up. I think this year I'm going to say no I can't go, that way I might have a shot at making one.
For everyone who has ever emailed me to ask if the stock rad support is strong enough to run dogbones here is what you need to do!
Still have some work to do to clean everything up but structureurly it's sound. Both frame rails are plated inside and out useing 1/4" steel, welded along there seem and bolted in place. The tubing is 1 3/4" steel with a 1/8th wall thickness and using 1/4" plates to bolt them in place. Everything can be taken apart which makes working in and around the engine bay much easier. The car will be changing a lot over the next few months including a new color (sorry Eternalone) and of course lots of power.
Stay tuned, it should be an interesting summer.

I have been wanting to see you on MSN, email me at l67sunfire@hotmail.com. I said a while back that if you ever got rid of that intercooler for the SC I would buy it, if you still got it, pack it up, its as good as sold!

Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
Don't ever give up. What you are doing is truely amazing. Hopefully your bad luck is behind you. I would love to see your car in person at the bash.

I will email you today about the IC, I still have it and it's still for sale.
This car running 9's lol sure it should be possible but like Isaak said having enough power is the easy part, putting it down for a 1/4 mile pass is a whole other battle. I will give it my best shot though.

how tight is running the piping going to be? barely makes it or plenty of room? Great car by the way.
