Tools Needed:
• 15mm Open End Wrench
• 15mm Socket
• ½” Drive Ratchet
• ½” 3” Extension
• Small Pry Bar
• Rubber Mallet or Dead Blow Hammer
Step 1: Begin by jacking the car up and placing the car on jackstands.
Step 2: Locate lower mount on the car. Start by removing the front bolt for the motor mount with the 15mm end wrench.
Step 3: Remove the rear bolt for the motor mount with a 15mm socket connected to a ½” Rachet by the extension.
Step 4: Once both bolts are removed, take the small pry bar and pry the lower mount out.
Step 5: Locate your Turbo Tech Racing aluminum lower motor mount.
Step 6: Start by putting the back of the new mount in the mounting location and start the rear bolt by hand. Once the bolt is started push the mount up into place. A rubber mallet or dead blow hammer may be needed as well as the pry bar to line up the space to receive the mount.
Step 7: Push front bolt through the mount and tighten with the 15mm wrench. Make sure the bolt is tight.
\
Step 8: Tighten rear bolt with the 15mm socket using the ratchet. Make sure the bolt is tight.
Step 9: Admire your new Turbo Tech Racing Aluminum Lower Motor Mount.

my carDomain updated 4/24/07 I've got premium. Yes I do. I've got premium. How 'bout you?
How much is this and where can i get one!!
2004 Turbo cavalier 11PSI and blown!
So far so good. the car goes to the track tomorrow for some hell. Sound slow but i hope to hit 14's. and its going to be put to the test for sure. He is still working on pricing. I feel a small difference compared to the Prothane mount i had before. This one is machined out of a solid piece of aluminum. Plus this thing just looks amazing.
did you happen to get the difference in weight? it looks liek its lighter weight, i know its not much but evethign helps.
you should continue testing it with my auto crossing sunday
The new mount weighs 1.5 lbs on a UPS Certified Scale at our store. Ill try to weigh the Prothane soon. If I went sunday, i would beat the crap out of my cars 2 days in a row and miss picking up 100 half sticks i bought
looking good! cant wait to get mine. bolts dont need to be torqued down like the top mount?

i have never torqued either, they are just really tight
and i added the disclaimer just for the fact that a lady can sue for spilling hot coffee on herself when there was no warning label on it.
nice. i might have to get me one now.
nice, cant wait to get mine!
this 'difference' you felt... good, bad? sloppier, tighter? more vibes, less vibes?

id say a good note. with the hood open and revving the motor it sits in there tighter and doesnt rock more than when i had the prothane in there. id say the vibes are barely noticeable now.
Oh and i got back from the track. No wheel hop what so ever in first gear. going into 2nd got a little but the mount held up like a beast. Both did.
ok cool man, i had a little wheel hop with both rk mounts and the mark pain tranny mounts with my 5spd car, so its good to know that when i get it going again that should be close to resolved when i replace all the mounts with TTR's. the vibes werent that bad at all with this car, i actually loved how it felt.
as for my auto car, its more of my cruizer have fun and look at car so i want it to be a little more "smooth" it now has the ttr upper and the rk lower installed, the vibes arent THAT bad... but at idle my n2o solenoids that are mounted on a bracket that bolts to a tranny bolt vibrate like no tomarrow, really kinda worries me as i doubt that can be good for them. (hmmm, maybe some rubber washers would fix that..... just thought of that
) but anyways, i CAN stand the vibes it puts out inside the car, they are considerably more noticable than my 5spd car was and i bet they would be even MORE after adding the TTR auto mount. so for me, i couldnt be more thrilled to see a less vibrating lower mount come out that doesnt hurt performance yet still provides less vibes.
dont get me wrong, i like the vibes... it just doesnt give my car that 'smooth' feel im looking for, but idc... im willing to sacrifice it for the performance value as i need everything i can get with this freakn automatic
