Ever wonder what a Eco sounds like at 8,500rpms?

Well now i got my engine going completely, heres a sound clip... This is without the supercharger hooked up, and a 3inch downpipe off of the LSJ pacesetter header, no cat, and through a thermal research exhaust.

Engine is completely built except for the stock crank, which is balanced. Cams are compcams stage 3 grind and a ferrea valvetrain. Idle at 850rpms.

And yes i know, hptuners limits the rpm to 8192, but when i free-rev it it shoots right up to 8,500 rpms

Nice ! cant wait to see more of this car in the future. I just noticed that the S/C is driven off of one of the cams?

I have the same cams sitting in my room along with many other parts. I'm curious how do the cams feel? Do they pull all the way up to 8k? When does the powerband really start? Nice setup, curious to see the 1/4 traps if you race it.

The cams are awesome... Very streetable, i have my idle set at 850 and as you can hear they do have some lope to them.

And yes they pull all the way to 8, but power doesnt really start till 4-5,000 For daily driving i shift like a S2k (right around 4,500rpms)

I got a pretty good reaction out of one kid in a DOHC Vtec del sol (dont know if it was a GSR swap or just the stock SI engine) But either way he was suprised when i held each gear longer than him AND had him a good 4-5 carlengths behind me on the highway. And that was without the supercharger turning.

Yea the supercharger is driven off the cam, its actually for sale right now on ebay. When it sells (only asking 2,000) Im going with a custom turbo setup using a Garrett t3/t4oe 60trim .82 A/R turbo... It will be big... It will be bad... And it will haul ass

Thanks for the good comments guys!

As for more vids.... Well im not gunna be that nice. Right now my vortech kit is for sale at 1,900. When it sells i am building a turbo setup using the following.

Garret t3/t40e 60trim w/ .82 a/r turbine and .60 a/r compressor.

Tial 38mm external wastegate with atmosphere dump
Greddy Type S BOV
Ebay piping
Ebay intercooler
Hahn Oil line kit
Ebay manifold

And since im keeping my thermal research exhaust, when i have the downpipe made im gunna have a 3inch electric cutout installed.

So, 15psi through that monster or a turbo, and i will post dyno videos as well of track vids. Im hoping for low 12's on my kuhmo MX's
