Well a couple weeks ago I won my home base's (I'm in the Air Force) car show....with that I got to move on to the best in Europe, or USAFE (United States Air Forces in Europe) competition.

The competition is a voting one and whoever gets the most votes wins!! There are actually four categories...best in show, best interior, best paint and ugliest car...

The voting takes place on line and the link is provided below if you'd like to see one of your own take the top prize and represent the J platform overseas...for military bases that is....Air Force to be specific. All you have to do is go to the web site and rate the rides there for each category. There is a link right at the top of the page for each one...click on it and vote!!

Not asking for you to sway the vote my way at all...but if you like my ride...vote for it! VOting runs from today to 14 Jun 07....so get the word out!!!

BTW....those seats....how? I love how they match the LS Sport speckle perfectly. Never noticed those, VERY nice touch.

The seats were recovered at a GM dealership to match the original interior...

The one pic is of stock seats the other is of the A2s recovered to match...two different seats. I usually run the stockers for day to day driving and then put the A2s in when going to shows.

I'm not sure how they did the seats as I dropped them off and then picked them up 5 days later...the dealership I'm sure just ordered what it needed to cover the seats.

The sliders are for Recaro seats (aaftermarket) and are a tad big for the A2s but they fit the seat bottoms so I used them. Once I'm back in the states I'll just get new seats as I want to change to leather for the interior and will be looking for seats and making some custom brackets to fit them.

your car is awesome minus the rediculously large tach...never understood the need to put in another tach when there already is one in the gauge cluster..

Thanks! You're not the first to not like it and sure you won't be the last! It's got a plus side and a negative side...some like it...some don't.

Both tachs are actually prett close to keeping up with the rpms...the shift light though...that's been a huge plus!
