i was bored and was browsing ebay the other day and came across this little gem. i emailed the seller and found out that he was only an hour from me, so no shipping was necessary. so for less than $600, i picked up a gm extreme tuner kit. i had planned on using import fighter sides to go with my rk front lip, but i just couldn't pass this up. so now i'll be rockin the rk front lip with extreme tuner sides. hopefully they line up, if not, i'll probably look into trading someone straight up for a set of IF sides.
the front and rear are already spoken for. Manta Z and his buddy Eric have dibs on them
once my rksport front lip shows up, i'll be able to test fit everything and then paint it, and then call my car done(until i find something else i want to change/add). i'm also tired of the orange corners already so i'll be picking up a set of black housing corners sometime next week
everyone has posting their piles of parts lately, so i felt like joining in, plus i was excited about picking up that kit for that price

Jason, you can get fiberglass versions of those skirts. The EVO 3 skirts are the same thing, I checked into it but got the xtreme skirts and rear myself.
Alias, what is that piece in the middle of the second pic with the three strips of adhesive running across it?

Thank you for doing that! Make sure you get the ones that don't have the clear reflector in them. I kinda like the the ones with the amber lens in them, but I have the ones with nothing in them. I think it will make for a cleaner look.
Man I would SO rock that kit if I had the $$$ to do the 03+ conversion...

i honestly have no idea what that piece is. there are 2 of them. they are both the same length as the sideskirts. they say something about drivers side and passenger side rocker molding on them. the kit is for a sedan, so i'm not sure where those pieces would go. i just test fitted one of the sides on my car, and i will definitely be keeping them. for as big as those sides are, they aren't as low as they look. it should work out nicely with the rk front lip. the sides are roughly 1"/1.5" lower than the stock ls front lip

thats exactly what i was thinking. i definitely want the black corners that have the amber reflector in them. i believe jason at aplus said that all of them being sold now have the amber lens in them. i'm just gonna snag a set from ebay this week. looks like i'll be able to paint everything 2 weeks from now, it all really depends on when that rk front lip gets here.

Uh, these are very RARE kits. Only two people that I know of have these complete kits on their car, and NOBODY has the one YOU have for the 00+ not to mention the spoiler.

i'm just keeping the sides for myself. plus i have no desire to do a front end conversion to the 03+ style. i also ordered my black corners this morning as well as HPT.
Eventually i'll get around to following the instructions in the tuning forum on how to do the fake 2.5 bar tune. until then, i'll just use the scanner to look at a few things.
