I came back to so cal recently ( I still have a house in Michigan and spend half the year there) and found a bunch of old pictures of my cavalier on my comp out here, I have so many fond memmories with that car and still feel (kinda biased!) that the axis touring cups were the best looking wheel on a Cavalier, I wish they still made them.

I still visit the site almost daily, and im getting the bug to work on another J along with my vette, so im guessing within the next year or two I plan on getting another J I have great memmories of both of my J's and also the people in the community.

The Jbom people were a great group of guys and girls and I had sold the car to Jon's GF pam a few years ago, hopefully he can chime in and give an update to the current status of the car! I know it was in good hands with those guys. Just thought I'd share some old pics alot of newer people on the org. may have never seen it.

haha yeah they were short lived, the stock red tails looked MUCH better!!

The car looks great! Great to here from you! I plan on leaving my vette in cali (im here winters, this is the only summer) and am going to buy another j out there to drive around, will be great to see you guys and the car again come next spring!

The car is nice!!! Just my opinion.... it think it looks a lot better with the LS front bumper than the type-J. Very good looking wheels and yes they are one of the best, if not, the best looking wheel on a J-body.

i want your rims ive looked everywhere for them but havent found any in good enough shape your lucky

Kevin- Will be great to see you and chad, ryan, etc when I come back next spring. Your car looks sooo good now, love it!!

Nick- I do plan on working there again next spring, they're expanding the machine shop and opening a store in the front which will sell my borhers clothes, tickets, etc. I plan on helping run that when it opens so i'll still be there come in and see a show, still the best rock venue in the country. Here in hollywood I've been to the viper room, the whiskey, etc. and they don't have sh_t on the machine shop!!

Chadwick- I miss you alot man, and I think my next cav might be silver also...... I like it!

Whitecavy- I've always loved your car as well, and was nice meeting you at the bash a few years back, good hearing from you.


****In all seriousness my next car won't be anything with a bunch of body parts changed or a cosmetic showpiece. I've done two of those, I've gotten older and plan on doing my next j a totally different way. I think the way pam has the car now looks MUCH better than it did on the top pic, some may disagree, but I feel the current look looks more tough, and better. Sometimes less is more it's true. My next car will look mostly bare bones, but drive differently

always was one of my favorite cars on here!! that pic with the vettes always made the car seem like it was trying to be sneaky. lol. look at it. what a sneaky one. glad its still in great looking shape. yay for up-keeping j owners!!!
