Saturday, August 04, 2007 8:13 PM
Well worked onthe car today.

Got around to installing the pile of parts i had building up.
-1st was my ebay aem intake and k&n elbow and filter
2nd was the Gm seat covers i got on ebay also.(already had the fronts so now i have an extra set of fronts)
-And finally The rksport roll bar i got from Karo last year.

The i pulled the car out and snapped a couple pics, some better of the eyelids and shaved trunk.
Now onto the pics.

Anyone know where i can buy blue neoprene, i wanna redo the doors fabric. But no local shops have it they told me i was "sol"
lol

c&c welcome(its gotta alot of paint ships car will be repainted eventually)

lookin really good man. been a fan from back in the day when you first did your eyelids. the only other thing that could set that off would be shaved handles/gas lid, blacked out tails, and IZN projectors. i love the black out theme

also, when did you do the eco swap? the supercharger looks good in there

the eco swap was done withing the past year, many a trip to the "yard" to get parts.

i traded my saab turbo setup w/ Admiral Jedi, so thats where it stands.

i loved the saab turbo setup but have wanted the supercharger since it came out on the cobalts.

You mentioned neoprene and the only thing that comes to mind is fabric shops that make
diving suits which are neoprene to my knowledge.I don't know an idea anyways.Nice ride BTW

looks really good overall but IMO the seat covers look very very cheap and cheesy, stock > pep boys special (I know its not from pep boys but the point is the same) other then that looks really really good, I wouldn't change anythign else

The only thing I would change is the dirtyness.

Ohhh and the seat covers. lol

just so you know they arent run of the mill ebay seat covers.

they are the gm accesories covers. They are a very snug fit, unlike the universal covers. you see lil to no factory material on the seats.

but to each his own, i would rather have the re-upholsterd look then the cheap looking racing seats

I still think that is the best Sunfire front end ever made.....Then again.....I'm a bit biased......

Lookin' good though.....Glad to see it's still around......

I can actually vouch for the Seat Covers. I had a set in my Fire a few years ago and loved them. They wrapped around the seats really well and looked like they were re-upholstered.......I may still have some links for neoprene. A few years back, I was going to do the same thing....re-wrap door panels in the neoprene. It was tough to find though. I'll see what I can find and send them to you........

Looks good! I love the C5s on there with the Baers! Im biased.. haha!

The claipers in different color than the red may look better with the blue you got going on right now. You did a lot of work on that car for sure.
