Theres a pretty nasty looking storm rolling in tonight.. I had a few minutes to snap a few pictures before it arrived though.









I kind of wish I had a better camera/lens, but I guess they turned out somewhat decent.. I didn't have a lot of time to frame the shots, it is a fast moving storm.. wasn't long before it started raining.. but I'm just happy I was able to capture some lightning bolts.. I've been trying to do that for years without success.

Awesome pics. That storm kicked our ass here last night, pretty strong winds in the beginning.

that third pic is amazing. its almost as if it exemplifies good vs evil. if you would have had another car there with red neons to match yours, it would have been arguably the baddest picture ever taken!!!

Thanks for the comments guys! I'll have to see about putting up a high res pic. I haven't had time to do it yet though. I appreciate the comments, I was really lucky to get those pictures, I didn't have much time before that storm arrived. It was the coolest thing, one minute we had a clear sky with the moon and everything, and about 5 minutes later the storm filled the sky all around me.

Ya dude, the worst of it actually went around us, it was pretty bad to the north and to the south, I heard that power was out a few miles south and supposedly there were a couple of tornados spotted. We really lucked out.
