Another Blown Ecotec!

How many ecotec engine literally blew within the same week?
Anyways, here's a couple pics with the intake off.






Might as well put on the new alt pulley while i'm in there...




HAHAHA, GM supercharger installed:





Not as fast as I'd hoped. But the sound from the charger is awesome. I still have some other things i need to install, so stay tuned

and blown ecos are great, mines been blown since dec

congrats.

that pic of the blown motor somone posted is airtonics motor.. his was an 02 and the only eco so far i THINK to throw a rod like that... the rest were 03-04 and were ringlands

Actually it's my motor. 125 wet shot n2o, fuel solenoid stuck shut and BOOM!!! If you don't believe me I've got more pics. The block is actually still sitting in my garage almost 2 years later.

I'm sure it's quite a bit faster, my butt dyno doesn't work very good though.

I Still need to put in the other intake that has the gm performance division emblem on it. I going to buff it up more before that goes in, so it'll be nice and shiny.

you must be new, heres the scoop, superchargers are for the power, TURBOS are just so you can have a blow off valve and a cool noise

im like a proud parent my charger was installed today tell me tom has law enforment taken noticed of overly agressive sunfire yet. i had a black impy follow me 2 blocks when i got off the expressway lol i almost pissed my self. the car spins the tires(with out power braking) alot easier now. I love it when it shifts when you punch it.

The fuzz hasn't caught on yet. I think it's starting to pull harder now that it has a full tank of 91. (had 1/4 tank of 87 and 1/2 of 91, woops)
