Riiiiiiiimsssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!11 Finally. 18 inches of powaaaa. Spyn Design Editions in satin gold, chrome lip.

More custom bodywork. Fender flared.

Guess what I used for the base for the fender flares and I'll give you a cookie.

More custom bodywork. Front fender tapered edge. Perhaps the first Cav to have it..?

Whats new?
-Rims: Spyn Editions, Satin Gold/polished lip wrapped in Falken 912s: 225/45ZR18.
-Rear fender flares, completely shaved in, notched on passenger side for gas door
-Front tapered edge on fenders, custom fibreglass
-Rear diffuser panel, custom made (hard to see in pics, its tucked under the bumper)

Whats left to do?
-more rear spacing, another half inch
-add front underspoiler/splitter/thing.
-add Brickyard spoiler, mold it in.. ..anybody have one?!!!!!!!
-finish bodywork off
-lower rear of car another inch, front has new springs, will settle another 1/4 inch or so
-get painted: white with blue pearl, black with blue pearl. Separated by 1/4 gold pinstripe.
-tint: 35% front and back, rear window untinted. Windshield 50% tint.
-interior over winter.. underglow.. rear seat delete.. Sega Genesis install.. Sonic the Hedgehog themed vinyl.. ..tons more

This is basically the 2/3 done on the exterior with most everything left to do to the interior. Its getting there though. Comments, hate, flaming, whatever. I just wanted an excuse to post up some new pics, haha.

Looks good! I like the new wheels and flares. You need to shave the gas door, handles and locks! A brickyard spoiler would look good on there too.

Thanks guys.

As for the gas door. Its staying there, but its not staying the same. I'm doing something custom with that.

Handles.. not sure yet. Perhaps IZN Trbl carbon overlays. I want to keep unneccessary electronic crap out of the car, such as door poppers, power locks, etc.
Less equipment and gadgets in the car, less @!#$ to go wrong. I don't have power windows, mirrors or anything like that and I prefer it that way.

As for spoiler, you got it. Brickyard or RK Sport Pro-stock. Whichever I get my hands on first for a decent price.

As for where the rims came from, it was a somewhat local to me shop in the GTA. (Ontario, Greater Toronto Area). A small industrial unit shop called tires23. They have a website:

like what youve done with the car so far except for that hood. i know its the whole drifter deal to let out hot air or whatever, but anytime i look at your car it just makes it look bad. the only people that are going to like that kind of mod would be the drifters, and if your not drifting the cav then their just going to think your a poser. (old school term there lol) i just think it ruins what would otherwise be a good looking car. as for the rims i agree with silver, they look hot but after a while your going to hate cleaning them.

so how did you make your rear diffuser and what did you end up using as a base for the fender flairs?

Fender flares: Pontiac Vibe GT front flares, I reversed the sides they came off so they properly flowed. (left front to right rear, right front to left rear..). Did some trimming and molded them on. Built up the lower quarter panel somewhat more to better blend them in.

The rear diffuser panel? Polycarbonate. In other words, lexan. It's actually 2 pieces. I pre-measured, cut rectangles. Used a torch and an exhaust pipe piece held in by a vice to work in the curve. Sanded down the edges, made inner fins out of lexan, added small L brackets hidden underneath, a bead of hot glue along the edges to clean up the seam ANNNNNDDDDD Krylon'd the @!#$ out of it. It's held on by small pop rivets.

I would have never come up with the rear diffuser panel so soon but I was pissed when my rims didn't come in Tuesday so I had to do something for the car.
