Well I have started to make some progress on the01cav for 2008. I have had some help from a couple members on here. Special thanks goes to icemike89 and nicocav for their parts. This is my last post for the month and will not be able to post anymore till the beginning of the month.

So with Icemike my car went from this.

Then I met up with him and when I arrived back home it turned into this.




Then later today I went to the junk yard and got some parts to make the foglights work







I also met up with Nicocav last week and got this from him.

good progress for once. now go get that lip painted and on. then put some 03 ls sides on it and some rear lol.

Agreed. I'd go with a contrasting color, though. Maybe gunmetal to match your rims.

I think you should have the ABS plastic spots paint matched when you paint the lip! Nice upgrade though!

Thanks everyone, I am making slow progress but atleast it's progress so i'm not complaining. I am planning on re painting the bumper anyway and making the grey blue.

Hmmm I wonder what blue maryland Z24 this bumper could have came off of. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity for the bumper and I hope mine is put to good use as well. I think yours will be getting scheduled for paint at some point. Looks like MD winters have been hell on the paint lol.


I also have a couple more suprises coming in the mail that should be arriving next week for the cav. Thanks for all the compliments so far, the cavalier is really starting to become what I have wanted it to be.

Ya I know the bumper wasnt the cleanest, like I said I hardly ever get chances to clean my car living in an apartment lol; plus Im not too worried about appearance as Id rather go fast . A good buff and wax would do wonders, but Id just get it painted when you get the lip painted and the grey would look much better blue.

Well I finally got the car cleaned up. It looks a million times better now than it did. No it didn't leave the driveway.
