Wow, I didn't expect this much response.
Thanks too for the frankness of the comments and all are well taken and here are some answers.
The front 2.2 bumper was chosen because it's a GM product and the original Z bumper just didn't breath enough to keep the engine running cool in the hot summers, here in the Deep South.
I also plan on getting the front lip (and RK side skirts sitting in my room, soon to be on the car) painted body color. But right now, I spent over a month to get the paint to new condition and it's not time yet to repaint the car.
Once the engine and 5 speed are installed, then the paint will come in stock color with a pearl red clear coat.
The Sunfire tail to me just looks so good and aggressive. And yes, not many have done this so the uniqueness of the mod is something that I like too.
It takes the bareness of the trunk away and gives the car some nice looks. Carbon fiber trunk is coming soon anyway so we'll see how that affects the Sunfire tail section once I get the trunk.
Also, when the car is painted, all carbon fiber will be painted body color for a monochromatic theme.

how well do those braces work? ive always wondered about the floor brace in the rear.
Tabs, the bars work wonderfully and wouldn't have it any other way. It's all custom work and got the ideas from some of the Cusco products they use for the WRX and Evo braces they sell.
SInce they don't make such items for the J-bodies, thought I'd do it myself and it was a success.
The chassis is so stiff that the KYB struts can't keep up with it. Tein SS's are in the plans or some KW's in the near future.

and tinted windows it would look good(in my eyes).
Jake, I had tinted windows and will never have them again.
I've now got to replace the rear window so that I can have my rear defroster. It was the tint that like all tint I've seen turns blue/ purple and vowed that because of this, would never have tinted windows again. I've had tinted windows since 1980, in all of my cars, and in every situation, it's turned purple, faded, or just gone bad.
The stock orange corners may be going back on and it's just been recently that I got rid of the factory clear corners that I had on my Z bumper to the ambers. This adds color to the car which it needs to stand out from the crowd.
And yes, the shift light is quite necessary as I drag raced this car for 4 years, winning two back to back trophies in two different states with the car.
The shift light is needed because when I reach the traps, I'm near redline and ready to shift to 4th gear with the auto. When I drag raced, I'd race in 3rd gear so the shift light let me know that I was in need of shifting out into 4th gear after I went through the traps. I hope this explains it a bit better why I have one in the car.

The HVAC knobs are back to stock and the white knobs you see in the picture are from the Grand Am with the rubber removed. I liked the red glow at night from them but the white got tiring.
All of the gauges you see are used and give me information. Nothing you see is junk or useless or even installed for aesthetic reasons.
Oil pressure gauge on the dash, Aeroforce Scan gauge, a/f gauge, and volt gauge on the pillars. The a/f and volts gauge will be replaces with another Aeroforce scan gauge along with a wideband for true a/f readings for my HPT or MS setup to come.
The seats, I love the seats, and love the red color. They go good with the car and if these were Sparco's, would you still hate them??

They fit great and eventually will have Sparcos so they'll be red too.

And Jake, I thank you for the honesty of your post. I too want a stealthy car but I also like something just a bit different too. Thanks for your comments man.
Sec-z, thanks man and I appreciate it.
Zyaaaa, coming from you it's well taken and appreciated.
We've been around my friend and have see our cars go from one thing to another.
And neubreed, the trunk is a custom setup that anyone can do with parts from the junkyard.
It works and am glad to have tried something different that actually made an improvement for the betterment of the car.
This car is so tight in the chassis and the ride, is WOW.
Thanks again all and maybe in a couple of years will update again. Then, the 'blu will be something very special to me and a finished, complete project.
