I finally broke down and bought a steering wheel. Hopefully someone will buy the car with this in it. I'm trying not to spend much since it is just to sell the car, this is a 6 bolt Mookeeh wheel. The black grips will be dyed Graphite.
To replace this:
Not too many people seem to be frequenting the interior or North East Forums.
Can you tell me what install stuff I need?
The owner of this auction
Momo steering wheel hub adapter Cavalier 89-94
Says that this will not fit my 98, but another person in NE forum says it will. So will it, or won't it?
I like this much better than the above one.
IC&ih=005" target="_blank">Steering wheel quick release hub Cavalier
But do I need to buy anything else to make it fit my car; like some adapter?
Also, does anyone have any pedals for sale that would look nice and match the wheel?

You need a #2401 Momo hub adapter to put the wheel on.If you want to use the quick release hub you still need the #2401 hub adapter.
Steering shaft - hub adapter-"quick release hub"- steering wheel.
In order to keep your air bag light from showing when you remove the air bag wire a 1/4 watt 2.2ohm resistor across the wires to show a resistive load to the air bag module. That way no light and the passenger side bag will still work.Good luck.
Not to thread jack, but has anyone ever used those eBay quick release adapters? Are they safe? I'd hate to buy something like that and have it break while going down the road...

Thanks. So if I just buy that ugly Momo 2401, that is all I would need to install the steering wheel?

Yup! It is not the nicest looking unit but all the ugly stuff is hidden by the corugated rubber sleeve.I put a Bride wheel on my 97 cav. with the 2401 in about 20 min. Hardest part was I broke the plastic sleeve the horn contact rides in and had to Mcgiver a new one.Good luck.
id love to know why you cut your wheel like that, please link me.
Rollin' on question marks since 07.

GMR has got nothing on this
Okay, thanks guys. I just wanted to double check and make sure.
Now
the other link for the nice looking quick release hub; the seller claims that is all I need to install my steering wheel. I like it better. Any opinions??

The wheel I was building was going to replace the missing pieces with Plexiglas Dowel Rod that would light up in blue, and be smaller than the diameter of the original stock wheel.
