Here is the car at the J-Body Bash in St. Louis, BEFORE I OWNED IT, BEFORE THE ACCIDENT.
But yeah. So here's the story...
1996 Sunfire GT loaded with 5 Speed Transmission
I got this car all smashed up a few years ago. Since then I have slowly been re-building it to use as a Daily driver.
Here is a photo from when I first got it. Pretty rough, eh?
Since then, the car has been somewhat repaired by me, a little here, a little there...
Graphics removed, hood, Right Fender, bumper, Right Headlight, bumper lenses all replaced
with donor parts from a Sunfire Base model. (Thanks to Chewy)
Got rid of the 14 inch steelies with hubcaps from a 1998 4 dr Sunfire SE
& found some really clean GT wheels the other day (which belong on the car anyways)
threw the wheels on since I had to replace the broken sway bar links in the front anyways.
I used the Energy Suspension Performance Sway Bar Complete End Link Set (Front)#9.8120R
Here is how she sits right now in my driveway....
Now........onto the cavalier.
The Transmission took a crap, so I have a new one that will be here Friday, April 25th,
along with a few other parts that will go in at the same time...
Prothane Motion Control Arm Bushings (in possession)
Energy Suspension Sway Bar End Link Set (Front)(in possession)
Front & Rear Prothane Motion Control Transmission Mount Bushings (in possession)
SPEC Stage 2 Clutch Kit SC582 w/LIGHTWEIGHT UPGRADE (on order 4/22/08)

I have a brand new Sunfire GT front bumper in the basement for it just begging for paint!
But yeah, I should be able to make it out to Joe's after I pick my tranny up Friday afternoon.
