not a fan of the tails being painted or the red overload but for some reason I like that side stripe, even though if someone told me they were doing that I'd probably smack 'em up
the silver stripe would be nice if it didn't say "2.2 Ecotec" on it.
The only other thing I personally would chance would be the taillights.
Its your project, however, and if thats the way you like it, then stick with it.
the rims look great, and so does the drop!
nice n clean... love the side stripe as well, even with the writing.
keep up the good work.
Riddle me this... riddle me that...
Yea, that stripe gives it a nice mustang BOSS 302 look. kinda neat!
that stripe kills it IMHO. Otherwise, that's a pretty clean car!

don't like the seats or the red in the engine bay, but i love everything else. the stripe works, it gives the car character and goes great with the rims. nice work!
Check out my build thread!
surprisingly the stripe looks pretty good...
i like it
ive seen this car in person at a few shows in myrtle beach. i like it. not a fan of the way the muffler sits so low, but other than that, it looks good. maybe ill be in the next show around here, ive done some more work to my cav, and im putting my wheels on next week.!
thanks for the input guys.....my reflections...........im thinking some of the red needs to go in the engine bay, thinkin of doin black or gunmetal valve cover to match paint/wheels.....and as far as the seats, they were a CHEAP find, got them from a friend that changed to MOMOs...not permanent seats, but for cheap i like 'em..want the black ones with red stitching though...and as the stripe goes....DavefromEngland I agree with you, I started cutting the stripe and I was thinking "what the crap am i doing?? " but after i put it on.... I LOVE IT !! i just wanted something clean and simple to break up the black a little....i think it came out better than i thought.....i also did a rear seat delete...wil upload pics of it, you can kinda see it in the one pic of the interior........LOTS OF FUTURE PLANS THOUGH............keep the comments coming....any suggestions on the engine bay?? its too bright to me...thought it would tie in with the rest of the red/black theme, but i think its a bit over the top......im seriously thinking black valve cover, and maybe more braided lines and maybe some CF and chrome or billet................IDEAS???? thanks again guys...
oh..and the exhaust hangs a little lower than i wanted, but when i put the ls sport rear bumper i think it will be better.................redhotchevy2000..did i talk to you at Battle At The Beach?? were you the one parked under the stands..had a kit and was rollin on the stock dookies?? i wanna see pics of your car with the new wheels...if this is you let me know....
Carry that stripe across the bottom part of your front and rear bumpers (all the way around the car)... and it would look bad ass..... I like it though.
ya man that was me, i have my wheels chillinnext to me right now. im polishing them up, and i just gotta get some tires, ill have pics HOPEFULLY by thursday. gotta pay for that rubber.
from what i can see the interior is looking really nice i myself would just have the seats rewrapped to match the interior, they just look out of place with everything else being black/grey. for the engine i'd just pull the loom off and do everything in black except for the valve cover. leave it red to create some contrast in there. but it looks like a pretty clean car in general.

So I take it you are from Myrtle Beach? I should be down that way again sometime within the next month or so.
look me up this time man. lol im closer to the beach now. and i should be rollin on some wheels....
finally
gotta get eco cavy and whoever else we can find, for a BBQ or something at a state park.
nah, im not from myrtle beach....i have been to some shows though @ MB recently......i am from SC though...lancaster county,,,,,anybody nearby or within an hour or two, we should hook up and hang out or somethin...i will be @ MB end of June 1st of July though,,,,,,,,,,and back to topics....i think im gonna take all the red out of the engine bay except the valve cover, all wiring/hoses will be braided covers i think, we'll see...i want it clean, but also to stand out a bit for shows..thats why all the red is there now, im not all that flashy but i think a few things i have done might seem a bit too flashy for my taste, i wanna dump almost all the red except the neons, if anyone has black or black n gray seats let me know...i think that will transform the interior tremendously....anyway, keep the comments coming and i really appreciate the input.........and anyone in SC please contact me so we can get something together....would love to start a SC J- Club
im surprised, but i actually kinda dig the stripe. its a very hard piece to pull off, but i think you did it
I really like it overall!! That stripe works with that car for some reason, some of the red does look kinda out of place, but I think it is definately a nice ride!! Keep it up!
