My dad has had this car for awhile..... It's actually the car that got me interested in J-bodies. Ever since I drove it home from the lot back when I was in high school... I've been hooked. It's a 3.1 V6 with an auto... sorry but I don't have any pics with the top down.
At one point... we had 3 J's between the 2 of us.... but now it's just My Sunfire and his vert. He uses the vert for a weekend cruizer while I'm always making sure my Sunfire is faster than his Mustang LOL
I figured his car should have it's 5 minutes of fame on here as well....
very clean ride..dont see too many now days those years..looks like he keeps good care of it!
It's taken really good care of.... gets stored indoors in the winter, and only gets driven every once in awhile. I don't know why he hasn't taken the trailer hitch off it though.. he never pulls anything with it. It should be getting a new top this summer... and I've noticed that 2nd gens are getting rare also.... the car didn't used to turn heads like it does now.... you never see like new Sunbirds anymore... let alone verts.
