Karnage got some wheels finally.. w/ Nikon D70
Friday, May 30, 2008 9:32 PM
So I picked up a set of wheels at an extremely good price, and it had to grow on me me for a few days but im def. liking them, think ill like them more when I get a chance to clean them and get some tires that arent completely bald lol. Also a good excuse to take the night shots with a Nikon D70, not really sure how to use it yet though

Also the car still needs wetsanded, buffed, cleaned, and the front springs on.. plus the FMIC should set off the front end, but the camera was at dads house and thought id snap a few with an SLR for the first time. Let me know what you think.

The 4x4 stance kills the whole look of the car bro...

Is it lowered on Pro-Kits like your profile says? If so I had them on my car before my ground controls and I HATE them. It lowered mine like .4" I think it was.

Im just waiting till monday when I can get a day off to get the front lowered, they are dropzone, its a big drop, and the rear is lowered and almost tucking them, but when I left for MN I had to put stock front suspension on because of a Strut issue, and im waiting to put the others on, but ive been working too much lately to be able to get it done, so it will change VERY soon the front springs are sitting in the back seat.

Thanks though, I really like the wheels once they grew on me, I wanted black, and wanted 5 spoke and all that, but I picked those up for 120 bucks with tires, so you cant really beat the deal I got on em, and I was gonna paint them black, but im kinda diggin the silver too.

obviously you got a great deal on them, but im not sure how well they work with your car. i think black rims would look great, and i think those are also too small to fill in the wheel wells with everything else going on with the car.

also, are the tires the right size? they look friggin tiny. overall tho, nice car. i'm diggin it.

I had black wheels and didnt really like them that much, and when the front is lowered also I think it should look pretty good, they are 17s, I dont wanna go much bigger since its practically gonna be the show/go car, and yeah they are the right size tire believe it or not.

Thanks for the comments, Im a fan also

Unless you have a tripod, night photos never really turn out. Get some practice in during the day. and get Karnage some lowering springs!!

Oh yeah and for those that are "unsure" about the black/carbon on the hood, it looks amazing in person. I was a lil iffy on it with the pics jeff was showing me but after seeing it a couple weekends ago...simply gorgeous.

As for my old fmic, it's already got brackets set up for a J and no other modifications are needed for it, it's pretty much a direct bolt on, just make sure you center the bitch lol.

I dont know about all the needs balck wheels comments, I'm down with black wheels trust me (see my sig) but I think the silver sets off the pin stripe very nicely. And once its lwoered it should look even better. Kudos mang.
