Flat Black hub caps

I was productive today

Painted the hub caps w/ krylon fusion flat black and adjusted the koni red's in the rear to full hard (not w/o incident)
I know from the angles of the photos you cannot tell, but the car is lowered on sportlines and koni reds...

Enjoy!

Just for fun - during the TTR trans mount install:

Looks like a fun start.

Taillights look real good! Nice idea.

Hard to make that 03+ light bar look good!

tails look good, i dont understand why we're excited over hubcaps though, especially when the rest of the car is on the right track towards being pretty damn nice

Thanks guys,

Just some general replies:

I prepped the hub caps well - krylon fusion is made specifically for plastic, and i've used it before w/ great success. I'm not too worried about chipping. Prepping: wash thoroughly w/ detergent and rinse, wash with degreaser and rinse, second detergent and rinse, 70% isopropanol, 90% isopropanol...yea this paint isnt chipping w/o a real fight

Its actually the "satin" finish, but it looks pretty "flat" to me

The light bar was done basically the same way as well as the little plate on the front bumper with the placard. This brings the car together quite nicely IMO. Its not really a temp fix either - this is a daily driver and its much faster/fuel efficient with the 14's on than anything bigger. I wanted something stock-ish that trends well with the rest of the car so this is it. I briefly considered bronze, but i just couldnt see it on the silver car...

so how do you like the mount?

Riddle me this... riddle me that...

The mounts are awesome - they do what there supposed to do...there's really no drivetrain movement and theres a shudder when launching at low rpm and little to no vibes otherwise. For some reason the A/C causes mad vibes...but i do not really use it.

195/70/14 are the stock base model size. The recommended pressure is like 30psi, but thats just to floppy for lateral traction and decent traction so I run 36psi rear and 38psi front...the max psi for the tire is 44psi.
