Its painted and back together
Friday, June 20, 2008 7:35 PM
Well I posted pics a while ago of progress some liked it some didn't
Here it is finished, I hope you like it, I do

On a side note all of the work was done by me, The widebody, is steel, the headlight work the body, and I also painted it.
I was hoping to make the bash but there just wasn't enough time in a day to get it done so I didn't want to rush it.

Looks good, and totally different.. but to each his own, i still think it would be TITS without the ugly wing. It just ruins it for me

I was about to say that it looked a bit like a 3rd gen RX-7 from the front corner view. Sweet car man and it's good to see someone doing something different too.

Super nice job!!!! You did a great job on the body work, and black too!! No waves wow!! I am not feelin the wheels with that style,a nice chrome 5 spoke 18" would be killer, but just my opinion,as long as you like em!!

Where in Ontario are you? I am in St.Catharines, hope to see it around for real!

wow man, I think it looks great. I don't mind the wing, but if it were off I think it would look even more like an rx-7...

Looks tits. IMO you should bring the grills down a few shades color wise, and new rims.

Lol at all the comments about it being "something different". To me it just looks like an attempt at recreating Fetter's Sunfire.... Black, widebody, RX7 headlights, and seven spoke wheels. I will give you props for the work. It looks like you did a good professional job with everything. Keep it up!

looks pretty good. im with everyone else about the wing though, but if you like it then keep it. beyond that i like the black, but it kinda makes the body work harder to see which is a shame since it would be nice to show that off. but def keep up the good work!

also, the GM Tuner Bash, like kevin suggested, would be a great place for you to meet some friends!

looks good, not too much of a fan of the wing also but it's nice none-the-less

i think your car deserves a better front bumper, although i love how tight the fit is, i just cant stand that bumper

ppl are stupid and just dont appreciate all the hard work that went into it..."oh i hate the wing, looks like someone elses car, blah blah blah" stupid asses.

I love the widebody, I love the headlights, I love the wheels, I love the wing, I love the paint. Hows that for props? Excellent job man!

Looks great!!!! IMO those wheels are not doing that car any justice.

Wow... My post stands as a compliment, Fetter's car was hot! No need to get so angry over someone else's opinion.

I agree and I stand by my opinions of it. I'm not going to say the car doesn't look good, and I do give him props for all the work he put into it, but he could have been a lot more original. Comments like "Looks good, and totally different" and "it's good to see someone doing something different." are just funny to me. I'm guessing a lot of people (mainly the newer guys to the org) never saw Fetter's fire. I just think its funny because I remember the original poster of this thread drooling over Fetter's car in this thread making comments about how he liked the headlights, widebody, and wheels then a few months later here he is sporting a very similar look.
