This is how she sits right now.. Ready for the final tune before bash time

I got the motor back last Wednesday from the shop.. The motor was assembled and installed by Friday.. I spent 14 hours on it Friday just to get it done so I can put miles on it this week so I can race it at the bash.. Thanks to my by Devon(3800 S/C cavy) for helpin me and lending his mechanic skills.

Things Ive gotten done to the new motor since last build:

I repainted my engine bay Arctic white
Grinded down all the tack welds and filled them in
New head, ported and polished by Devon
Exhaust bronze valve guides only
Custom .060 Cometic Headgasket(final compression ratio is 9:2.1)
New block(Thanks Joey)
2.3 Oil pump conversion(75psi cold started up FTMFW)
Polished 160 AMP Altornator
SS Russles fuel lines from firewall up
Aeromotive AFPR
Induction Dynamics fuel fitting
Venom high flow fuel rail
Polished timing cover

No the intake for the turbo isnt installed in this pic lol.

Thanks for looking, no pictures of the outside because that hasnt changed since last time.. See you all at the bash!!!!!!

I hate you! I still wish I kept my Z24 and tried to come close to you and Jeremy with a turbo auto LD9....

I want to drive it sooo bad! See what I missed out on!

I think if I got to drive your car and Jeremy's (If it runs now? or when it runs again) my penis would explode....

Lol @ Rob

Jason, yea I used to have a CF res cover for that but umm, ya see I cut it off in frustration when my car over heated a few monthes ago hehe.. Oh well, ill get another one one day.

Joe S. Thanks man

Joey- I agree

Thanks Brandon, hope you get to make it Friday..

I still got some tuning to do to it tomorrow.. The car started right up after the first try with the new motor, but it died after 5 minutes.. I believe it went into closed loop mode for some reason... IDK why it shut off, FP stayed steady at 50 psi as the WB started to go lean and eventually shut off..

Thanks again peeps.
