why would you think its a .org member's car? just cause its lowered? ive seen plenty of dealerships do that.....they toss on a kit or some cheap rims and a drop and charge an extra 3k for it.

what im wondering about is why the handles and mirrors arent red......i thought all of the newer ones came like that

only LS sports had painted handles and mirrors, thats not an 05 filler light on the rear either, its an 03

Re: possible jbo member?

the filter isn't a K&N, all K&N's are the same color becasue of the oil they use

lmao, you work for VW. big difference, man! you really think that a cheap USED car section at a dealership is actually going to spend $1300 on lowering a cavalier?

and pos ttr mount? i cant speak for the eco's but i absolutely love mine for the LD9.

the filter looks like an AEM dry-flow. or it could even be a fram brute force.

he said "in a car" not in a cavalier

I had the RKSport and the TTR mount... when I sold the silver car I kept the RKSport mount and sold the TTR mount. The bushings rotate and tear, mine had some play in it from very little use, the powder coating coating didn't hold up nearly as well as it should, not to mention its basically a stock mount with a harder bushing and looks pretty. I would take the RKSport mount over the TTR any day without thinking twice.

yeah, but haven't welds on some of the rk sport mounts cracked? TTR has revised their powdercoating process to fix the issue of that (mine has never had issues). and cant say anything about the tearing bushings...that just blows. maybe a new design is in order...<shrugs>

Re: possible jbo member?

the weld on the RKSport mount that cracks is holding a paper thin litle metal tab that you can bolt the a/c line to, mine snapped off in shipping and it never casued any problems

ya cuz i made a small post on it... and the powdercoating still sucks, mine is chipping again and im on my 3rd replacement, my second was chipping in the packaging before i even put it on the car, the 3rd made it to the car but is now not holdin up at all...
i still cant believe they are even powdercoated, it just chips off like i painted it in my driveway with spray paint.

yeah, i hear ya man. mine was chipped in the box when i first got it as well. so were many other's mounts.

powdercoating is NOT supposed to chip.

Yes, we have not had any complaints on mounts shipped from this past spring until now as far as the powder coat goes...

Darkstars, you had the very very original design that had the 1st rev bushing. We have went through about 3 revisions, and now the current one (used for 1.5 years now) does not loosen up and rotate. The new ones as stated above stay just like new. I will say the original design bushing was based off the "Prothane tranny bushings" which had holes in them, and gave a lot of trouble. Just like many know about the prothane tranny bushings doing the exact same thing (Darkstars) stated, that is why we eliminated the holes, to keep the bushing round and not rotating. Along with changing the durameter (hardness) of the bushings slightly.
