Im new, my project.

Its a 2001 cavalier z24 bought it with a blown motor, Came lowerd on neospeed springs I balieve.
already swapped to a 1999 z24 rear bumper and filler panels, swapped to 1999 z24 rims.
Doing the 3800s/c swap along with the neon rear disc conversion. Then we will see what else happens after im done that.
Getting the Transmission next weekend, Along with the Camaro Flywheel is in the mail then its off to machining.

The day I got it home.



Got the head lights painted black. Still have to do the corner lights (amber)


Swapped the rear bumper

Wow. A new member with first time pics and it seems to be someone who knows what they are doing. This is unheard of. Good luck on the swap, I can't wait to see another 3800 Cav.

Computer will be up for sale, the wiring harness is being used for the custom harness for the 3800

Thanks so much guys, The harness is getting done by someone else, along with the tuning of the computer.
I will keep this thread going as I get work done on the car.

so how are you going to pass with your car ? in the us they go by the cars vin so my car would
have to pass with as a 2.2l and it wouldnt because the 3800 puts ou more than the 2.2 being
a larger engine. but i live in iowa so i dont have to pass anything

This is the emissions results on NOta2_4 after his swap.
Its a easy pass where we live.
