Yay....New Wheels!

Old chrome wheels pitted through three layers of metal and stopped holding air...so this time I went with name brand 18" Enkei LM-1's

Going to a car show tomorrow...hope to get better pics with a camera instead of the cell phone.

Thanks for looking,
~Kilo

Agreed.

Could use air again too, at least IIRC you got rid of it? Ah well.

cool vert! rims look sharp, but tires are begging for some shine!! and with the Thrashers logo plastered on the side(personally I'd rip that stuff off), I'm assuming you're in the ATL area?? I am...

^thats cool and very interactive! Rims are oookay....not the best but on the link above your car looks better without the spoiler and huge hocky fan sticker. Maybe if you put some armor all on them tires that would help

GMR has got nothing on this

failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Sorry everyone is disappointed with the new look. I loved the old rims as well, but unfortunately they stopped making them years ago...It took me months to track down a replacement several years ago when I broke a four inch chunk out of one of them on a pot hole....so finding 4 new ones was impossible.

The wing has always been one of my favorite parts of the car...I've always been real pleased with how it compliments the body lines of the car...at least its not a 7" high aluminum wing, right?

The air ride is missed on a daily bases...however...being a daily driven car (which now has 206,000 miles), it just wasn't practical. I'm actually hoping to win the lottery soon so that the Nova and Snazzi can both be on air

The graphics...well originally the graphics were put in place to hid the numerous paint defects that have shown up over the years...apparently 5 years on a shotty paint job is pushing the limits....Now I've actually grown to love the look of the car. Kids love it at the games and of course some of the adult hockey fans do too. Even though the Atlanta Spirit Group isn't paying me for the advertisement, I think the graphics are going to be there at least until the end of this season.

And Phewes I'm sure the team won't be here much longer...ticket prices are too high and half of Atlanta doesn't even know we have a Hockey team. And as far as kovalchuk is concerned...its only a matter of days before they make him Captain...so maybe the big "C" will make him want to stay....even though being the star of a losing team has got to suck...lol

Thanks for looking and for your comments....and again....sorry for the disappointment....I just don't have the money to keep the Snazzi looking like she used too....

Actually the car came from Cherokee...that was right before I had the plate changed over. I'm up in Rabun County...but I've got friends in Cobb....we'll have to meet at Barrett one night or something the next time I'm down that way.

Short notice, but there is a car show tomorrow (Sat 10am-2pm) in Buford...its off 985N on exit 4, take a left and its down past the Hobby Lobby at the ACE Hardware....I'll be there...

Not digging the graphics, but the rest of the car looks great. It's nice seeing other hockey people one here though.

They were Konig Prophets, right? You can still get them on eBay. 18's and 20's in Chrome.

Put some tire Shine on them and your all good to go.

Nope, Katana Tezzas. Cheap Konig rip-offs.

Tire shine comes today at the show...we'll see if it improves

Konig only has a 1year warranty on finish but a LIFETIME warranty on the Structure of the wheel. Made me buy some because of that.

...and to think I just had sold my old wheels (were the same style but silver) for 100 bucks. You could have bought them and had them chromed.
