Bought myself a late Christmas present, was waiting til after christmas to see what deals I could find on a new HDTV. Well after making my choice, I decided on a 42" Samsung, I originally was gonna get a 32-36" but this was a GREAT price on a larger screen. Well I had no idea I was gonna get one this big, so I drive my Cav to the store.
The guy helping me take the TV to the car said "NO WAY, IT WILL NOT FIT" he said " NO ONE CAN FIT A 42" TV in the Box in the Backseat of ANY CAR"
Well, after removing the bottom of the rear seat we got it in the car, I moved the passenger seat foward all the way and it went in at an angle.
Well, the box is Wider than the Top of the car, the roof gets narrow as we go up, so he said "GREAT, NOW THE DOOR WON'T SHUT" hmmmmm...... Power windows go all the way down. Rolled down the window and closed the door.
It took me longer getting the box out than it did putting it in.
Thought I would share.

I'm back at my old employer for the time being. Thanks for the concern. Also I saved for this. I'm not one to sit around and not have a job, I'm at work right now.

lol I shoulda taken pics of when I shoved my 50" DLP into the back of my car..I felt like I was on an episode of Pimp zee ride..
I had a somewhat similar story, however mine is with my 2007 Dodge Magnum.. the commerical shows a surf board fitting in the car... well I got a 32" lcd, tv stand that swivels and a bunch of other things we bought that night. It was iffy at first but it's amazing what you can fit in a car when you have to.

I put my Vizio in my sunfire lol. Its only a 37" but my sunfire is a coupe
27" picture tube t.v's fit nicely in the back seat of coupes lol.

@!#$ my dada hauled 1 and a half cords of wood to my house with his 98 z24 best truck he ever had.he is gonna do it again in a week or 2 i will snatch pics when he gets here.
mine was a little harder, i fit my 32 RCA in the back of my sunfire coupe and it sure took some massaging to make it fit. Needless to say my seat was all the way forward and the passenger was leaned all the way forward also.
