Board, so i figured i'd post up some pics of a few small things ive been up to this winter

1st, rear seats outta an Infinity, Not done yet, but getting there..

new front seats coming in the spring, most likely yonaka ronins, or samurai

And my ion engine cover, aswell as i moved the computer into the cabin, hoping to clean up alot of things under the hood this year...ignore the large amounts rust check lol

what ya think?

The rear seat looks great! It looks like it was put in the car from the factory. Very nice addition.

The engine cover is a cool idea, but to me it looks a little out of place. I guess I'm just using to see the actual engine and all . Did it require any modification to fit properly?

Keep up the good work Gary.

Furious 2.2 wrote: it needs an intake

If I'm not mistaken he took the intake off because he drives the car in the winter.

i had a k&n warm air, but i ditched it for 2 reasons, the stock box seals to my rk hood giving it the ram air affect, and i hate how u can see everything below with the intake......not like the intake did anything anyways lol.....but either way, if gm gets there crap together with the camaro b4 spring there will be some whine there any ways

gotta rep my home slice wayde lol.

had to cut the cover up a bit, but over all it fit decent....tried the cobalt one 1st, but no dice.

Thanks guys & girl!

I believe the engine covers off a saturn Ion.....i was wondering threw the yard, and grabbed a cobalt/g5 one, and on my way out i found this one on top of a Saturn buried in the snow, dragged em both over to a sunfire, and the saturn one worked a million times better so i snagged it up. I plan on colour matching the cover to the car, once i go back to work and have some $ to pay with....yes wayde, that means you lol, gotta finish up my harness bar and shaved gas to aswell.

i'm not really sure what infinity i got the seats from, we where walking around the yard, looking for something that would work and found these, got em for $40. was thinking of taking the front 2, but the drivers side was a bit woren so i never did, may go back in take another look. and i'll check the model, for some reason i think its a Q45, but i looked them up on eBay and non of them seem to have the same seats, so i'll have to look.

Looks really good Gary.
Couple things, get rid of the blue loom on the coolant lines and leave the engine cover like that, dont paint it.

Looks clean!...but you are better off with a aftermarket intake. Even better if you tune with it. Plus ram air...NO....unless you plan to hit high speeds...even then your restrictive plastic intake plumbing will slow it down.

Seats look AWESOME!

GMR has got nothing on this

yea i'll be ditching the blue loom by the spring. thing used to be coverd in it lol, think i may bust out some black loom tho

I've already done hp tuners, but i wont be going back to the intake...no performance or looks gain imo, but either way, like i said, if gm gets there @!#$ together with a camaro sometime soon, we will be whin'in for the summer

QFT!! And the seats may have been from a J30 or a G20. those are the only Infinitis close in size to a J...

Went back and got the fronts today need a cleaning, but i'm not going to bother till i get em in.

Hooked em up to a battery and one functions 100%, and the passenger side works other than the folding forward, so I'll have to take the cover off and take a gander.....don't wanna jinx myself but it looks like they should be a somewhat easy mount, fingers crossed.

and another toy i got this week.......yay for yellows!...Just gotta fit em to the ground controls and slap em in
