yes it can be done. you remove the stock air box and piping and replace it with the aftermarket CAI piping. it pipes down into the fender well. there is a "bong" in there that has to be removed as well. i will get some pix in the morning

I can't recall exactly what the intake looks like for the 2.2, but from what I remember cutting it up somehow would probably work. Don't hold me to it though.
that has got to be the longest intake i have ever seen.

yeah J TO ENVY thats the one i was looking to modify it looks possible now that i have seen it on a 2200
2.2's throttle body is right where that hose is on the valve cover.
