Just wondering what you will be doing with all the 5-speed parts that are of no use now? I would love to convert mine over from an auto.

^^ actually its not over spray why paint portions that will never bee seen take off the fenders and your car will have the factory grey primer there.........everything that will be SEEN is properly painted.

#1- That is A LOT of trouble to keep your girl happy with YOUR car.
#2- How could you date a girl that can't drive stick?

its not hard to teach somebody how to drive a manual, seriously. anybody who simply cannot learn doesnt need to be behind a steering wheel PERIOD.

why do ecotec's oxidize so badly? that engine looks like its been sitting at the bottom of the ocean for ten years.

Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...

I was going to be the first to ask WHY....5 speed to 4 speed?....but since no one had asked yet I thought he had a health/physical issue...so I didnt want to be rude.
LOL...but as for the girlfriend thing, I understand but did she atleast give it a try?

GMR has got nothing on this

looks good greg as for the converting ist not hard to do when the car is stripped down as far as it was and not just to keep the GF happy if your driving in stop and go 5 spd sucks balls, driving in london sucks in a 5 spd glad i only have to do it for a couple more months but since greg works there hes doin it more. since he had the parts why not, love when people that haven't seen there car stripped make comments about the painting

they should look at how cheaply painted GM paints the factory engine bay, a dark green parts car we strippd you could see the primmer on the strut towers GM had to save money somewhere atleast greg has made his car mint and fixing GMs flaws

So the rest of the car is edges, oil changed, tranny flushed, all new Dexcool, new calipers (painted black) new rotors, pads, new shoes and drums, Russel braided lines installed and brakes all bleed. the car runs and drives MINT. looks good tommorow i install the interior then all she needs is final paint that happens next weekend
