All I can say is, thank god the winters finally over! As a lot of people on here know, I dont really have a nice place to work on my car, so I usually have to pack it in once it starts getting cold out and wait for the weather to warm back up. Its slowly starting to warm up now to the point where I can start working on my car again, so I guess this post is a part 2 to last falls post. I went outside to take a pic of how the car survived the winter, and heres how it looks
Heres the passenger fender in primer from the fall
Now, I had a nice cf hood that had some damage to it (nothing major) that I was planning on using for the swap, but apparently someone else decided they could use it better than I could cause it was stolen lol. So I guess that means I'll stick with the stock hood for now, which will make things easier anyway. I've picked out the colour its going to go and finally have gotten my gameplan for getting the car driving this summer, so hopefully it'll be on the road in the summer at some point. For the colour I've decided to do what a lot of people have been suggesting I do for quite some time: Go back to the old school colour I had on my old sunfire. I called the colour Vapour Green which was more of a 60s seafoam colour.
sooo....everyone wish me luck and hopefully I'll start updating this thread with pics over the coming weeks!
thats awesome man! love this car, drive by it everyday lmao. sorry to hear about the hood, but hurry up and lets see this thing done! lol

i always loved the Original Bagdfire on the Foose rims the best
nice colour choise
Vince, We got rid of her Sunfire a little while ago. A lot of the things that we were going to do to her car, we're doing to this one now instead. I took a couple pics of some of the stuff thats going on the car for the summer but I never got the pics uploaded onto my computer. I took pics of my bc2 sides, my Hifonics Collosus II amp and my 4 Alpine Type X 12s. I have another 5 gal tank to go in the car as well all new Parker fittings for my car ride. Unfortunately it was still a bit too cold to go outside to work on the car, so no progress was really made today.
ooooh back to the old color, i likes!

after searching on ebay for a grille to modify to fit my car with the headlights, I stumbled onto a good deal. I ended up picking up jdm dc2 integra fender ends for my headlight swap. I know my passenger side fender was pretty much done but once I saw that these fender ends have the proper bracketry for the headlights, I bought them. Now all I'll have to do is cut off the ends of the cav fenders weld in these ends, which will mount up factory like to the headlights. Heres the ends...
now if only they had the same for the hood...I'd really be laughing haha
Do work! Post pictures!
I'm really interested to see how this turns out.
still no actual work updates, I'm hoping to do some work tomorrow if the weather co operates. I managed to go down to Princess Auto and pick up something for the car. My engine bay was tubbed the last time it was painted but it was tubbed with flat metal. I wanted to go with the more traditional tub look so I bought a trailer fender.
Hopefully tomorrow I can cut it to shape and maybe even tack it in place while I wait til the jdm fender ends get here.
looks like the dog approves lol
can't wait to see more work done on this
