here's a first.. all the way up.

lmfao
Car looks great, can't wait to see some new pics when you start driving it again. I think your 4x4 stance is the same as my tein drop. lol
Yeah yeah Jason (sndsgood) is right. My ins dropped me so I had to get the car appraised and to get it proper insured. because I realized our cars whos more than 10 years old are on black book! not the blue... its gonna be real cheap! our cars are some @!#$box!
Im having a real hard time. but still talking to a broker right now.. they knew the mods were done for cosmetic not for speed. so now they are asking if Ive done anything to the motor. so obviously I told them no! its all stock..
*fingers crossed*
So far Ive contacted more than 10 standard ins brokers, all turned down. After talking to Matt, next part I contacted collector/ modified/ classic car insurance - Lant & Co. , Zehr , Whetter Oaklin , Silver Wheel... they all turned me down. it has to be 15 yrs old to be eligible for vintage car insurance program. 2 companies downed me cuz of AIR RIDE! they can accept other mods done on it. BSSH!T
Matt (ecotecpower) suggested me to contact Hagerty, cuz he told me that you (sndsgood) are with them for some time now. SO I went ahead and contacted Hagerty insurance located in Michigan. They rock!!!!! but too bad they re not able to write a policy in Canada YET!!! they are still working on it, it should be ready in a few months. Too bad I need an insurance ASAP!
Im not giving it up... wish me a luck guys! I need some spiritual energy support system!
Thanks all for the comments!
Good luck with all that insurance bro! I will have the same task but in the future as far as I know my agent for my other 2 cars (State Farm) said they can write a special policy for whatever I can prove I have into the car (why I save all receipts, paypal, etc.) they will insure whatever I can prove.
I don't know if you have a state farm there?
FOR SALE
Yup I do have some receipts and some not.. I just hope the appraisal paper is enough to prove the value. Yes we do have the state farm here. they cant take a simple lowered car or an exhaust. lol @!#$ standard!!!
And sorry man, I havent had to find a time to send you those bolts.

Your car sucks!
Just kidding
.
But seriously Darren. I was in Florida last week and didn't get your text message until the other day since I left me phone off...Let me dig up that # for you. I got a letter in the mail about a month ago saying that they had moved locations...thus they have a new number now, that other number I gave you is no longer in service.
Let me dig it up and I'll shoot you a PM back bud.
that really sucks, seems like the canada guys get the shaft allot for insurance. ive head thru so many people how much a hassle it can be and the two people i went thru (haggerty first) and then my own current insurance were both a breeze and insured mine no problem. sucks haggerty isnt in canada, they were real easy to deal with when i got my quotes from them. i's just keep calling any insurance comp. out there. or get an agent to do the work for you. like i think i said above. my standard company i was with went ahead and insrued me without much problems.

interesting...
can haggerty insure ONLY for the nice months? and allow an 'idle' time for when its in the garage? did you guys have to prove mods and provide receipts for them etc?
thats the problem i run into with my company, they get pissy when i drop the policy after 6 months and dont understand why. then you try and get 'car show' insurance through other company's and u say cavalier and they then say 'eh...what? huh?' and your back to square one.
I'm tired of wasting my time... now I'm breakin' free.
Darren Co-Operators is my insurance company..... they know that the car has allot of work including lowered.
Give'em a shot...
Vince, yeah but no answer and thought you re still in Florida! lucky bastard!
dig for me asap please! just realized its not easy at all in Canada!
Jason, I cant wait to sign up with Hagerty within a few months!
Brad, You can take off collision and liability coverages but leave the fire and theft on.. just only for $50 per month. I never had any problems. It should be the same thing for other brokers.
Will, Co-operators were great to me till they asked me to take the car for a check point inspection. They took pictures of pretty much everything.. till then they dropped me in a few weeks later! sucks.. my silver cav is still under them though.
Also the broker who I was talking to for some time now, approved me... but I wanna try contacting Vince's broker first before I go ahead into a next step!

Well good luck bud. I know during the winter I drop the cav, to comprehensive. Costs me $13 a month for full coverage, just not supposed to drive it. IF they still decline you cause of the air, let me know and we'll swap suspension at the bash
I WISH!
The only thing I'll insure on your car is the fact that I'm going to hump the paint off of it next time we meet big guy!
