so would this be painting the wheels then? i might be considering this as well...black with a lip for me though...or gunmetal
That's mine, it's not actually that bright, the picture makes it look that way for some reason. Those are painted with the dupont wheel paint that you can get at your local parts store in a spray can. I'll see if i can get some more pics up for ya. One of the wheels is in bad shape right now because i had a blowout about a month ago and haven't had a chance to redo it. The wheels are ASA LW5's, there made by BBS.
Theres a pic that shows how dark they really are, i like the color, but i am thinking about repainting them silver since i have to repaint the one wheel that was damaged and i don't think the new paint is gonna match up since the rest of the wheels have been painted for about 2 years.
What suspension is that? Its really low
Almost makes me think cut springs?
Its not all the way down is it?
I thought bags but it doesn't look "airbags low"
In that first pic i was parked on the side of a hill so the right side of the car was tucked up in and the left side rear didn't sit all the way down just the way it parked. I am running aim fronts so they don't go quite as low as easytreets. But thanks to some advice i got from Joey i'm gonna try to take care of that this week sometime.
Oh is that rons old air set up? Looks SO good. Are those 17s or 18s?
How much was each can, and how much did you use?
I love how dark they are!
No it's not Rons old setup, well i do have his old valve, the big red valves. That's the car we drove up there to get the air ride in, it did have a sunfire front clip on it. I'd say get 1 can per wheels just to be safe, and it's like 5 or 6 bucks a can. Just make sure you prep the wheels really good and it will not chip off at all. Unless you have a blowout and have the tire bang up against the rim dam it.
