I still own the wheels that came with my car. I tried selling them but no one would bite. I want to keep my stock LS wheels pretty nice so I'll be putting those old ones back on. Trouble is, I don't want to put them on in the state that they're in.
To help give you an idea:

So, what should I do with them? There is so much oxidation on every wheel that I'm fairly certain that having them polished again is out of the question. I thought of having them painted or powdercoated something different and unique. Maybe teal or a deep maroon color, or just a simple matte black.
I just don't know. What should I do?

Surprisingly, that oxidation will polish right out. I did one of my WS6 wheels about 6 weeks back - all original from 1980, never polished- it was so oxidized it was brown/pink... and in 4 mins the lip was a mirror. Trust me I was shocked.
It's possible to bring them back as-is.

Black with color matched lip would be sweet if these wheels were larger than 16".
