on a stock cav... I don't get it

Was that constructive criticism?
The hood was the right price so i picked it up. Performance mods will come as soon as my wallet allows them, trust me.
To me, that's like saying a body kit on a stock cav isn't legit, which you see all the time.
Either way, Ive got plans for the car.

Don't really get your comment. A Body kit on a stock cavy, well it is no longer stock. And yes with the hood your car is no longer stock but still does not fit the car. Body kits usually enhance the look (even on a stock car), but this hood does not.

Personally, I do like the way it looks. On an LSS it looks fine...at least it's not a base. Just curious, have you noticed your engine running any cooler with this addition?
Thanks for all the comments!

I plan on dropping it in the spring. Looking for a good setup in the mean time. My Dash is out in order to paint my bezel and pop an AUX input into my radio. =P

I havent had it on long so i havent been able to know for sure. Personally i wouldnt imagine it would do a whole lot but i have noticed the Temp guage been hanging a bit lower than normal at highway speeds. But im not at liberty to say.
ls sport is a kit. so if someone puts an ls sport kit on, being its a stock part number then the car itself is not stock but it enhances the look of a car.
he put a cf hood on his car. he likes it. it looks clean.
its no different than putting wheels and a kit on a g6...
i dig the hood.....nice pickup
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...

Big difference here.
Besides you can't do this on a down syndrome J. They do not pull the look off.

and why is his down syndrome, and yours is not? because you say so?
really? i can think of a few cars that pull them off flawlessly if you want to go there.
there really is no difference. MANY cars put on cf hoods and no kits and they look clean
silver and CF is and always will be a great combination.
Chalk up one of the posts you dont have anything that helps. i can still think of a few more.
CF hood on an otherwise stockish car? I like it! My sig has nothing to do with it.......

1. 03+ = Down Syndrome (nothing against the poster). My car is a 01.
2. You are correct some cars do pull off CF hood and look good doing it, but not a hoog like that. If it was a stock CF hood different story.

You posted only a quote, and then 3 hours later put the words in useing another post. Wtfsauce.
And John you're useing aluminum pedal covers...IMO, just as gay. Might as well be rollerblading.
Not a fan of carbon fiber, but the hood looks decent. Post up your progress as you go kris.
