This is a pretty busy board ! first time here. I have a 00 cav and I was just curious out of all of the people here, I figure someone has done some statistics to see what types of cars have the most representation ?
is it the cavs ? sunfires ? year ? engine ?
Someone had to have been bored on night and put something together, so what have you ?
probably the 95-05 cavaliers are the most common... They have a few different engines, but are all Almost pretty evenly matched stock for stock..

97 cavs with the 2.2 are the most common. or at least thats my guess....the 97 was the second largest production year next only to like 86 or 87. and i think cavs outnumber fires close to 3-1

i have a 97 cavalier with the 2.2!! lol
there are definatly more 2.2's than 2.4's.
There is even a few of us 3rd gens with the supercharged 3800. mine was at one time.... A 96 cavy with a 2.2 God I hated that motor, But it was Soooooooo hard to kill. And it still lives with just a new head gasket. I tried sooo hard to blow it. 6000 RPM's every day for a year.
I think 3rd gen cavys are the 2/3 of the cars on here. 2.2's and 2.4's mostly
3800 series II supercharged swap in progress

I'm tellin' Uncle Ben!! You stole his RICE!!
"premiere cavalier" coming soon to a street near you!!
its weird..id say theres prolly more sunfires in my town...
i'd say the 95 and up cavaliers are more common aswell, but i've seen some sunfire engines with mad heat....

I also have a 97 2.2L Cavalier, hehe, now I know I need a new car just to be different.
id say that the most common is the 95-02 with the 2.2ohv , first gens are almost non existant, theres not many 2nd gens either. Theres a good bit of the 3rd gens that are 2.4s but not as much as the 2.2s. The ecotec army is quickly growing and may already be more than the 2.4s

it's not ghetto, it's "in progress"
Geez.. that makes me feel out of place. I'm signing for a '05 Sunfire tomarrow morning
Was going to get an '04 but every time I find one, it's sold or being "held"... and I had found a lot of them.
i have a 97 2.2 also!!! welcome to the boards
00 2200 here, the 2.2 is definitely the most common. Question is what is the most common tranny i have 3spd auto
I'd bet the auto. That's just about all I've seen... The car lot I'm getting the '05 Sunfire from only has like 5 manuals, where they have 15 automatics. All the used ones I tried to get were all automatics... Makes me happy they were all selling or sold, since I wanted the manual
